Can't pick, would've been an f'n great fight at 140. I'd favor Hatton if it was in England.

idiot newbie fan cotto didn't belong at 140 :patsch

cotto only had weight problems towards the end of his 140 run you knickers.

Hatton never showed the kind of power that could "wobble" Cotto, especially head shots. Hatton could and would target the body, but Cotto is not slacking in that area either. Which IMO would turn it in to a Hatton-Urango type fight, but Cotto being levels above Urango, and picking up the decision.

(Urango hurt Hatton to the body).

    :deal

This melting down to the weight is quite over exaggerated. People are saying it like Cotto has always been a Light Middle, draining down to 140lbs.

Do you think Holt or Torres hit harder than Hatton?

    Yes.

When did Hatton become this massive power puncher? Definition of an accumulation puncher.

Fair enough. I never actually said the shot Tszyu that fought Hatton would beat Cotto. I said he would have a VERY VERY
good chance. And I stand by that firmly.

I think you'd have to agree that prime Tszyu stops Cotto, in a fairly easy fight.

I'd agree to a point. Don't think it would be easy as in Tszyu-Judah easy. But I think Tszyu would have a very good chance at beating him. :good

Alot depends on if Hatton was able to utilizesome of his"tricks". If not, I see him getting hammered. If so, I see it being much closer, but one thing that needs to be remembered......

Cotto at 140 was a murderous body puncher. There's only so much punishment Ricky's liver could take.

If there's one thing retirement has proved, it's that Ricky Hatton's liver is awesome :fire

I'm a huge admirer of Tszyu BTW. And believe he is very underrated, mainly because he lacks that signature win over a fellow ATG/HOFer.

He may not have been the fastest guy around, but his timing and accuracy were impeccable. And he was beautiful at creating the perfect distance. Not to mention his power.

To me, a top 5 140 pounder ever... EASY. Perhaps even top 3.
