Will Anderson actually fight Sonnen again?

Whoever wins on Saturday, Anderson will be fighting on June 18th if the UFC has anything to say about it. The plan is for a huge stadium show in his home town of Sao Paulo

 

Chael Sonnen gave us a hell of a fight with Anderson Silva EIGHTEEN MONTHS AGO and we are still riding it as the fight to make!!

 

Sigh.

What part of 'he already signed for the rematch only for Sonnen to get popped for juicing' do you not understand'?

He didn't have an out. Pretty simple explanation. That also doesn't take into account that he could do exactly what he's done recently, and come down with an injury with no real timeline.

I don't think that Silva will ever rematch Sonnen. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he never fought again, or fought once against someone who isn't Sonnen. I hope the rematch happens, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it did.

Anderson provided that. He gets a shoulder injury while training for nothing that has a healing time that could be extended indefinitely. Right after Sonnen dominates Stann. Seems pretty easy to figure out. WOuldn't expect you to see it though. After all, Silva fans have low iqs and are genetically inferior.
