Doesn't matter . This fight should be 50/50 , any non-***** knows this . Even a ton of Floyd fans on this site have said it should be 50/50

Because Bob Arum gets less if Pac takes less. Arum probably told Pac to demand 50/50 and nothing less.

Where are the Pac is Arum's puppet jokes now? :hey

So, when did Pac tell Floyd that he would take less? A random newspaper interview is not part of the negotiations. If he went back on something he told Team Mayweather, then it's on Pacquiao. Beyond that, it's on Mayweather to justify why 50-50 doesn't apply. As of now, his only justification is that Pac said this in an interview and that's what throws up a red flag to his position to me. If he had tried to justify it on reasons regarding past PPV numbers or whatever, then I can go with the argument. But, this just leads me to think he's trying to win the media war and not really interested in fighting.

Floyd plays games and does not want to fight Manny. He thinks he is fooling people, but it is becoming very clear that he is not too confident of beating him. I miss the days of fighters fighting the best regardless of a loss.

:yep You'd never saw SRL ducking Hearns, Duran & Benitez the way Mayweather has avoided Pacquiao. It's beyond a joke, he claims to be the best but won't step up.:deal

True that. Back in the day you'd hear a boxer say 'why you ducking me?' and then it was on between the 2. No boxer says 'anytime anyplace' anymore.

I both fighters need to look at Rocky Balboa he fought Drago for free

yup only *****s who're going for damage control are grasping at this quote. 50/50 is fair for both sides. not 70/30.

If you want us to list a bunch of quotes Floyd has changed his mind on feel free to ask anybody. He's known for his contradictions you know :?

Because PAC taking the smaller share of the pie is off the table already . If Floyd would have phoned PAC on the very same day it would have been made. Are you saying there's no going back on your words :patsch.

Dumb statement by Manny (not the first). Floyd pounced on it. But, Floyd should explain why 50/50 is not good enough, to make the fight "for the fans". Manny deserves 50% of the revenue (we all know he won't really get that, once he breaks Arum off nearly 1/2 of that). Not the sharpest tool in the shed...that Manny. But, he is as big an attraction as Floyd is, and 1/2 the reason why the fans still want to see this fight, after 2 years of bull****.

It is obvious Arum does not want to make this fight. But, the fighters seem to. There's plenty of money to be made. So there is no excuse for not making this fight because of greed.

why did floyd say he was fighting next only to retract on it days/weeks later? everything they said before is moot. they are negotiating now. bargaining is part of it. seems to me you're more interested in playing the blame game ts.
