Why did Manny say he would take less,then when floyd calls he ask for 50/50

It turned out Floyd didn't pounce on it. Pacquiao said less 50% last December. Floyd didn't say anything about it. January came Pacquiao then said it's 50-50, before the Floyd phone-call, before the Floyd email. Now somebody please confirm or deny this timeline.

I remember people, myself included, taking the **** out of Manny for not knowing what he's talking about when he went back to saying 50-50 is a fair deal. This was waaaaay before Floyd's email. In fact, this was before Floyd even got his jail sentence rescheduled.

 

True, a week before the phone call, january 11 and 12 Pac made some official statements. Mayweather knew he wanted 50-50 when he made that call

What I'm saying is, not using the old statement from him, justify why should he not get 50-50 split.

I believe any boxing fan, who spends time arguing why either manny or floyd deserve more than 50%, is not a real boxing fan.
People should just want to se the fight. But fans arguing about floyd being better so deserves more, manny ppv average is less , or manny has had more 1mill plus ppv's.
