MAYWEATHER LOOKING AT BERTO FOR MAY 5th BOUT

    Ron ladders of boxing insider says after a long interview with a (yet to be named) member of team mayweather for a article for a February issue of boxinginsider that they team mayweather have approached berto and asked him if he were to win his February bout with ortiz would he be willing to headline the may 5 date vs. mayweather and according to ladders source berto said he would have zero issue with doing so unless he was to receive a cut in the ortiz bout. He also went on to say that mayweather intends to attend the February match up between ortiz and berto a rematch of a 2011 foty candidate.
    hmm looks like $ may is looking for another YOUNG HUNGRY LION

    If berto beats ortiz, then yes this is a better fight to make than the canelo fight.

    Also we could have khan fighting ortiz and the winner of that fight facing mayweather 2013.

    Berto makes no money. Mayweather will fight Cotto if Pac doesnt take the fight.

    It wont happen for the same reason Pacquiao will never fight Khan.
    Mayweather and Berto are friends. This rumor is entirely fake.

    Berto is very very popular in the urban community...he hangs with the rappers...he may not be a hug draw in boxing, but he's ahuge amongst Floyd's casual fans...two black americans....les get it on

    Mayweather is a fighter...fighters fight...Floyd doesnt do that "we're friends so we wont fight" crap...he said once before that he would fight him...I dont think it would be too much trash talk tho...I foresee another boring 24/7 just like the Ortiz fight..Vic tried to talk trash, but Floyd just laughed at him the whole time cuz he never took him seriously

    I love Andre and would like to see him get the shot. If he wins impressively, then he's the 3rd best WW in the world and is a very viable opponent.
