Fury is a more seasoned pro, he's faced tough tests before & is still unbeaten for a reason. Price is better technically & hits hard but there's a lot of unanswered questions about him at the mo. When it gets ugly & scrappy its going to favour Fury who won't be coming to box, he'll be coming to fight. Price will start as favourite but its too early to predict a result.
I like Fury... he's a fun character, but he doesn't see the end of the second round. Touchy feely first round, but Price's management of range and straight punching will give Fury fits, then drop him..... cold!!
Fury is knocked out by Price. I hope they don't fight until a few years down the line. Although if they wait that long I fear Fury will have been beaten already.
Price by KO, can't see it happening. "I'm way past domestic level!!" might be an often heard quote in the coming months!!!!
And that reason goes by the name of Terry O'Connor. Before their last fights, I'd say the only advantage Fury had over Price was his chin but he's been hurt badly in his last 2 fights so I'm not even sure about that now. Price tko in a few.
Furys defence is awful, only a matter of time before he gets laid out IMO, Price hasn't taken a significant shot yet so who knows how he will fair against fury who will no doubt want a tear up, for me its too early to be bigging up Price, Dallas and McDermott didnt show me anything about price we didn't already know
With the same result though price ko early on This fight doesn't have a 4th round ,may not have a second That doesn't mean I'm a fury hater, price just has too much in Every department .
It's not like Fury has been campaigning at world level for years. Plus, Price regularly sparred with Haye and Wlad so it's not like he's missed out on an education.
IMO Fury gets under rated on here. A focused and in shape Fury could be a good fight for Price. Tons of heart, and can box to a plan if he wants to. As for Price, well I don't know. It looks like he's got power, and he comes into the ring in shape, which you can't always say about Fury, but I still don't know. For me, the McDermott fight didn't tell us anything other than "he has power" since it didn't last long enough. I would have been more convinced if he'd out boxed McDermott for a number of rounds and then knocked him out later on. Hardly Price's fault as he can only do what he needs to do to win. That's what he did, and he won, fair enough, but that win didn't tell me anything new about him.
Fury would win this relatively easily :good Let's face facts and actually be realistic about Price's achievements here. On saturday night Price beat a CAREER HEAVIEST [which is saying something!] John McDermott who had lost FOUR of his last FIVE fights and had only fought ONE round in EIGHTEEN months atsch In the time since Fury - at only TWENTY years old - beat a game McDermott ... he has fought and beat EASILY undefeated fighters a good couple of levels above McDermott like: - Pajkic -Nascimento -Chisora [now fighting for a World title vs Vitali] - Firtha [who went the distance with Povetkin]. I genuiely don't understand the over reaction on this forum to Saturday's fight when everything is looked at rationally.
