I prefer Wlad vs Arreola. Vitaly beat him up pretty bad.

Molina is a clubfighter. He shouldn't be ranked in the WBC top 15, and definitely should not be in a final eliminator.

WBC-ranked Franklin Lawrence, Bermane Stiverne, Mariusz Wach, Alexander Dimitrenko, Luis Ortiz, or Tyson Fury would be better opponents for Arreola.

  6. Its says Wlad's mandatory...!!

Don King Promotions signed Eric in 2011 for the bout. Winner of the fight will go on to face Wladimir Klitschko of Ukraine, who has bagged 56 wins, 3 losses and 49 knockouts throughout his career. Klitschko is currently the WBO, IBF, WBA and IBO heavyweight champion. Therefore, whoever wins between the two will get the chance to go for the milestone fight soon.

The article has some facts wrong.

Molina is not ranked by any sanctioning organization except for the WBC, so he could not be in a final eliminator of any of those organizations.

Molina is the weakest fighter ranked by the WBC, that's why Arreola's manager Al Haymon has chosen him.

Wow. He won 2 regional belts against sub-par competition, is that all it takes nowadays? Lemme answer that: yes.

I will not write off Eric Molina that quickly. He opened some eyes in his last fight with that knockout over ****** Browning in August. ****** had a dazzling 14-1-1 record headed into the fight.

The naysayers will undoubtedly try to discredit Browning's resume by citing that out of the 14 wins, 10 of his opponents had zero victories, two others had 2 victories, and the other two had records of 4-17-3 and 4-22-3 respectively, and of course the draw was against a guy with zero victories. But that's nitpicking, he can only fight who he is in front of.

Molina has also beaten a couple other guys with winning records, so this could be a great fight.
