Alvarez was getting schooled a bit by Gomez. I don't know what makes anyone think he'd stand a chance against a Cotto or a Mayweather.

bwhhahaa..what's with all the Cotto hate lately?.. can't stand the guy is making haters look like fools for saying he was finished in 2009?
You talk about his wins, Margarito even with that eye is probably better than anyone Canelo has fought of late, as sad as that sounds.
Let's see, Cotto won his belt from Foreman, Foreman was champ and beat a champ for the belt, Cotto was beating him down before the injury and outclassed him.
Canelo was gifted his belt vs a welterweight not even ranked in the top 25 of his division and cheated him on the scales to make it worse, he couldn't put Hatton away even with all the advantages.
Then you have Rhodes, the shell of Cintron and Gomez (who Cotto smashed much more impressively years earlier) vs old Mayorga and Margarito.
Yeah, I see where Canelo has proven his greatness so much more.
And while Cotto was losing to Pac at WW, Canelo was doing great things like getting dropped and hurt by Cotto's brother and dragging up shot fighters like Baldomir and Lovemore N'dou to 150.
Yep, it will Cotto that will be stepping up in class against Canelo.

Larry isn't new. Probably just got his cpu back from the pawn shop. He's not hating either, he's actually just pretty dumb.

It's what the young and dumb Floyd fanboys do to most potential Floyd opponents. They used to ALL do it badly, then claim it was a great win.

Canelo is a great prospect, but right now, I can't think of a single thing he does better than Cotto.
