They were never losing the battle. They just were leveraging their public sentiment versus people's actual examination of the issues. As time went on they started establishing a pattern of lies and deceit that many of the more intelligent people saw from the beginning.

As far as your comments on crackheads and lunatics, what are Pac's people? :think

it is amazing what a couple of years does in boxing!!

i remember when Floyd retired after Hatton he said the best fighter in the world (obviously besides him, this is Floyd!) was Manny Pacquiao.

Called him a terrific fighter, only thing was he couldn't have predicted that Manny would rise through the divisions and win titles up to ww. (i don't count the 150 catchweight nonsense for a vacant title against a guy coming off a serious beating against Mosely)

    Typical Pac fan.

If you look back at the criticisms of Mayweather they are all rooted around the same unifying body... Bob Arum.

    Margarito - Top Rank
    Cotto - Top Rank
ODLH - Mayweather RELEASED from Top Rank
    Pac - Top Rank.

Call it what you want as far as Boxing aesthetics , but Mayweather has met every non-Bob related challenge out there save a young Paul Williams which is his and every other active WWs sole duck.

Idiots if they are losing a supposed PR battle to the Mayweathers. Floyd senior makes me cringe every time he opens his mouth and Roger is a grade a moron who's lucky he didnt get Floyd Dq'd against Judah.

Arum's ignorance and matching with JMM has possibly cost Pac his legacy. Another bad fight and it will be curtains for both Pac's legacy AND the FMJ mega-payday.

I agree but it didn't look good for Mayweather not fighting these guys. i understand why he didn't fight them lol it was Arum who wouldn't pay him the money he wanted completely underestimating Floyds drawing power. Ten million for two fights against Cotto and Margo or fifteen million for Ricky Hatton!!! i know what i would do!!!

Point being Floyd was seen as the difficult one but its Manny who has balked over Blood testing im afraid of needles!!! WTF! and looks more likely to be the reason the fight ain't happening.

For me Floyd coming back to fight Marquez was a clear indication of who he wanted to fight. Pac has ended up looking like a juicer and now someone who just doesn't want this fight. I mean a guy renowned to be a warrior won't fight his most difficult opponent ever and has come out with some of the worst excuses ever heard of in boxing.

As I'm sure the other two times Marquez and Pac had a close fight cost Pac his legacy.

Pac made JMM wait till he was nearly 40 before he rematched him, lets be honest here Pac was expected to streamroll JMM and it backfired.

Wonder who Pac will be fighting when he's 38? likely nobody.

I would have loved to see the fights. Hell I would still like to see them, but this whole Pac fiasco has clued me in to the insanity of making a fight with grudge holding Arum. Arum's tactics are becoming too easy to spot.

Judging from these recent missteps, Pac is on borrowed time. Another B+ performance in the ring or in revenue will sink this fight completely.

This entire post is a ****ing train wreck! Your "math lesson" wasn't anything to be pumpin your chubby little fists about corky. It was the most basic math I've seen from a grown man in years.

In a traditional sense GATE REVENUE is exactly what it sounds like.... Revenue from gate sales. Capital costs are incurred on the "FRONT END".... meaning YOU HAVE TO HAVE "CAPITAL" up front in order to earn your "PROFITS" by whatever revenue is generated for the deal....

In this case its GATE from ticket sales, parking, merchandise, food & beverage sales...ect...ect.. ect.. you get the point.... At least I hope but you can't blame me for not being optimistic in your case. I somehow get the feeling that's a common theme in your life.:yep

And I think I'll chief and hold on to my dutch...:smoke You don't need it.... you're high enough and should think about quitting altogether.

    I'm actually enjoying this bumpkin....:yep

    Moron.

Pac has since gone FURTHER than that and JMM had yet to meet FMJ. Things have changed and the JMM fight has the world wondering if Pac was a fabrication. Another blah fight will ruin Pac's WW legacy.

True, his legacy if sealed and he has nothing to prove, and he's made more money than he could have ever dreamed. Why would he fight on till his late 30s? He might be leading a country by then  (god help us)

And he didn't make JMM wait for ****. Pac got the W and D from their 2 fights and moved up to bigger and better things. You hold that against him, hold the same standard to Marquez who refuses the rematch in 2004 because he wanted more money.

5 months after their rematch Pac was signed to fight DLH at WW, a fight you don't turn down and a fight I bet you were saying he'd get killed in. JMM tried to force a third fight but was cheated by Floyd and embarrased and had to wait till there were no quality opponents left for Pac at welter for it to be viable.

Don't you haters ever get tired of trying to put a negative spin on everything Pac does? It's futile, guy is in the books as FOTD, and will considered very highly in the ATG lists.
