No. I think that the only person that can compare loading gloves to enhancing training sessions via PEDs has never actually Boxed.

You would still have to eat a lot to gain alot of muscle, most boxers arent looking to gain weight so they wont be overeating and thus not gaining a ton of extra muscle.

While I believe that many athletes do, I have a hard time believing that Hopkins is. Not because he is a saint but because he is having to resort to immense game planning and cheating in the ring just marshall enough energy to finish a fight. I haven't seem him improve or maintain himself in any physical aspect. He is getting by strictly of off taking care of himself and using every trick in the book.

Yes, it is an absolute possibility. however, i think that's all it is. Hopkins hasn't been beating anyone thanks to his superior strength, speed, reflexes, or durability. He's won with skill, and intelligence and i haven't heard of steroids for either of those.

If what you say is true then that is really possible, how can anyone turn down a simple urine test? That is much worse than pac turning down a blood test

How could he refuse a demand by Pascal that wasn't stipulated in their fight contract nor required by the athletic commission who sanctioned the fight? Simple. Just tell Jeanny boy to go **** himself, which is exactly what he did. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that ANY professional athlete was using some type of banned substance to enhance their performance, but Hopkins not taking a test that he's under no obligation to take doesn't make me any more suspicious.

acne and hair loss is a symptom of testosterone abuse.

first of all why would they use such a simple drug such as testosterone when there are so many better PED's available

and second those symptoms can be covered up and hair loss rarely happens.

what do you guys (for those who know) think of growth hormone releasing peptides? they aren't classed as drugs but raise growth hormone production levels in your body incredibly, they aren't PED's but are performance enhancers.

is it still cheating if its not a drug?

Steroids can very well be the difference in making a fighter.
Sure its a skill sport, but its just as much about physical conditioning than it is skill.

Great fighters in history have often agreed that the championship rounds between even leveled fighters has more to do with will than it does skill.

A fighter being able to exhert energy and still be fighting sharp during those championship rounds can make or break him. This is where PED's can come into the fray and benefit a fighter.

PED's can make or break a fighter, absolutely.

That's down to genetics really. If say your father went completely bald at 50 and you're in your early 20's/late teens then you will drastically speed up the balding process. If you weren't going to go bald anyway your fine in that regard. You only have to look around any average GYM to see just how many are on the gear, they're just packed with lads in their early 20's and completely bald.

Volume of hemoglobin in blood, for those adding test or steroids, hematocrit can jump up very high quickly. It's a sure sign that one is taking testosterone or steroids.
