Oscar suggested 147 to Pac aswell, he'd agreed to fight Floyd there in 2008 before Floyd pulled out, and said he'd fight Cotto before Margarito beat him. It was then Oscar focused on LW Pac as his new opponent because he didn't want to fight a strong welter like Margarito. Yet no-one gives Pacquiao any credit now.

Mayweather is a bigger fighter, a strong welter who pushed Mosley around, and has already fought at 154. Don't see how he gets any credit at 150, even if Martinez is competitive, they'll still say he was drained.

Floyd will not take this fight at 150 especially after all the **** he's talked about Pac's catchweights. He doesn't want to fight Cotto either because of the **** he talked on Pac's win over him. Floyd is shameless but not that shameless that he'd make himself look like a hypocritical fool. I expect an Ortiz rematch if he beats Berto.

You haters are dense. There is no comparison.

The real question is why Martinez is calling out WWs and not SMWs.

It isn't a catchweight in your favor when you are facing the challenger ABOVE your own weight.

Pac forced guys in their weight classes to drop weight. Or he forced guys with belts to drop weight. That is just fraudulent.

Is someone else seening something that i'm not seeing? I never think Floyd is thick or see him more than 160 on fight night. To be he still looks scrawny small frame dude. It is just how he is. Ortiz, and mosley looks distinctly bigger. He looks ripped don't get me wrong, but he is not thick ever.

The fact remain this. Floyd will not go too high in weight or he will endanger his biggest asset his movement and speed. Martinez fights small so dropping weight will not hinder his style. He will not be as strong strength wise but with the right nurtionist he can EASILY walk around 160-165 and cut 10-15lbs of water weight for weigh in. Floyd is not used to starving himself, thats why he only put on 5lbs on fight night. Martinez will be bigger. As for people accusing floyd fans hating on manny. I will like to hear names too. I just want Manny fans to admit that Martinez is a bigger threat than Margo because of his skills and instead of people scream size which is a flat out lie.

I'd understand if this isn't floyd's fault in making but
if the fight is @ 150, he'd get very low credit fighting Marinez there.

Better fight martinez @ 154, he'd get a better credit.

I agree, but lets face it. I see the same people posting about how floyd will never fight Oscar, Hatton, and Shane and then he does and gets no credit. People saying Hatton's best weight is 140, Oscar was too old even thought Floyd fought him at Oscar's comfortable weight and Oscar showed up 160+ on fight night in a tiny ring and big gloves, and that Shane was too old. I don't think he will get credit if Floyd even agree to fight Martinez at 160. They will say that he is old and was never that good so is nothing new and Floyd should do whats best comfortable weight for him bc he will get no credit from his haters.

Too many to mention, but you are one of them. Talking bout "I'm a grown man, I don't have idols", then coming in to twist **** when it's clear as **** Floyd is to blame. So are you ok w/ Floyd fighting Martinez at 150? Just curious...

I think Floyd should fight him at 154lb, just because it would make him look that much better then Pacquiao when he beats Martinez.
