Marquez is / was a terrible style matchup for him. Pac ironically has more trouble with the little guys. They're faster, generally more skilled, and present a smaller target. I still think he beats Floyd prime for prime, but he's slowed down quite a bit. Then again, so has Floyd. Needs to happen this year or one or both guys will be over the hill.

Pac still kills everyone from 147 - below and does it brutal, vintage fashion.

I think he's a sleeping beast right now. Lost some of the fire after all the money he's made and the fame he's gained these past few years and with other things on his mind. Maybe needs a guy like Mayweather to bring out that one last great performance.

So according to you Manny Pacquiao had a prime of 1.5 years? That's pathetic

Yeah I think he's lost the motviation with the type of opponents he's had lately, but he's visibly slowed down a lot. He lost a lot of that 'explosiveness' he had. But he's still got enough speed and power to demolish everybody in the division imo. He just needs to call it truce with Marquez.

:huh...It worked for Bowe :yep.... however Pac's been knocking out champions since his flyweight days. He was in his prime long before the DLH fight, or which ever fight you're alluding to you think his prime started

if he is struggling against marquez who is over the hill and was also dragged up to fight then id say manny sure has declined... its hard to say for sure how much until he takes on someone younger like bradley perhaps (given that bradley can handle 147)

let me explain somethin to u *******s, he looked like **** against marquez and mosley becuz THEY WERENT PUNCHING BAGS. they didnt stand directly in front of him like Clottey, Margo, Hatton, and Cotto. it was all an illusion to u *******s and Marquez gave yall a reality check. hes never improved, hes been carefully matched up.

But he faired equally well against Marquez in fights 1, 2 and 3 so either:

    A) He was "green" for fight #1, #2 and was past prime for fight #4 meaning his prime spanned a total of 1 and a half years

    Or

    B) He is the same fighter then and now and in between and that he fought against styles that made him look better than he is for a while.

What other 'styles' has Pac had problems with aside from Marquez?

Actually name another fighter who's consistently given him problems besides Marquez? There isn't one. And since when are Cotto / Clottey / Margarito / Hatton / De La Hoya the same fighters? How many WW's out there actually fight like Marquez , can you name any?

wow i know sparring doesent say much but i really felt the "mystery man" beat manny pretty well

beating him to the punch even in the exchanges landing some clean shots on mannys chin , landing an overhand right over the jab

id love to know who the guy is
