How would u feel about Floyd Mayweathers resume if instead of Shambra Mitchell in 05 he faced Kosta Tszyu and instead of Carlos Balomir in 06 he faced Cotto?

these are the only fights i dont like on his record BUT they were understandable. Kosta had some type of deal with showtime that prevented the fight plus he just got KOed by Hatton. Cotto was offered a fight around 05 but his team and Arum didnt feel he was ready.

Shambra Mitchell was a decent fighter but was pretty much a tune up for floyds first fight at welterweight. u cant just jump in with the best with out fighting at least once at welter weight.

Baldomir was sort of mandatory based on the fact he pulled off the upset against Judah. Floyd was getting criticized about fighting the loser so i guess he was obligated to fight Baldomir to clear doubts.

his resume is very impressive but having these fights wouldve been great for his resume also. his career not finished yet and still has time to put fighters like Pacquiao, Cotto, Martinez, or Berto on his resume.

but anyways, how would yall feel if he had those two fights on his resume in those particular times.

The Baldomir win is a good one.

He would be a top 10 ATG if he had Kostya instead of Bruseles and Cotto instead of Sharmba.

its still **** if you think about it.

    dumb dumb surfer boy Ortiz
    old man mosley at 38
    little man marquez 36
sparring session with Old De La Hoya..

His best win was the Ricky Hatton win and Pac made that look like a walk in the park.

In the end, I don't give a **** about his resume. There's still one guy missing and he doesn't want to share half of it with him.

Cotto would of been painted as "too green" and Tzsyu as "too old" to count...

His resume really just comes down to Pac, he wins the Pac fight, and nothing else matters

Damn, that Victor Ortiz win was worth alot if people are now rating him top 20 all-time.

For me, all he needed was Tszyu, Pacquiao, Winky, that would have made up for not fighting Cotto, Margarito, and had he won all of them or even losing to one he'd have a good case for top 10. Those fights would have given him the chance to have been the man 130, 135, 140, 147, 154 and 3 ATG calibre names in those higher divisions on his resume

ATG had he taken Pac after May 2009.:deal

Instead he made Marquez go 2 weight classes to fight him.

Tszyu instead of Mitchell, his resume would look a lot more impressive.
Cotto AFTER Hatton, his resume would be looking a LOT more impressive.
Margarito instead of Baldomir, you could have little complaint about his resume at 140lbs and above (ignoring the, 'Margarito had done nothing to deserve a bout with Mayweather' people claim).

If topped off with a Pacquiao victory. He would have had nothing left to do in the sport. And anyone trying to rip apart his resume would just be nitpicking.
