I'm sure in the current economic climate the owners of the venue are more willing to cut deals with potential event hosts/promoters in order to keep the £££ rolling in. Hatton Promotions have shown some boxing live on YT, I'm sure Dave has done his homework in that respect. If they sell enough tickets the money won't really matter. Bellew seems willing to put in the hard work to get himself known, if the Scousers will pay to watch Paul Smith I'm sure he can flog a few tickets too.
If Frank lets Bellew fight on another promoters card I'd be surprised. Beeston has it right, he'll do a hand or something in training. That said I think Bellew would tell him to do one given some of his recent tweets.
Even though, as his manager, he'd be acting in his best interests by allowing him to make a British title defence and earn a nice wad of cash. Plus, it'll ease his well known cashflow problems, with one less mouth to feed. I wouldn't to be honest. I think it would set a bad precedent for the future too. Plus, I'd probably go to this. Dave seems like a good bloke and is willing to talk to the fans, as opposed to blocking them on Twitter and threatening to sue at the slightest hint of criticism. Bellew vs McIntosh will be a shoot out for as long as it lasts too :yep
Surely Frank and Dave could come to some sort of agreement for it to be on Box Nation. It'd be in boths best interest wouldn't it?
