Well firstly, you need to take your own advice about learning to read whats been written because I only disputed Geale at middleweight. :-(

Secondly the fact that you state in your words 'I dont care which fighter from 1927 fought for the commonwealth titile 10 times and won the aussie title 9 times...a world champion is a world champion' shows you dont know how to rate a fighter at all. Those little trinkets Green, Mundine and Geale have or had arent worth much if they fought sub par competition.

Tell me, is Mundine, Green or Geale worthy of the international boxing hall of fame ? Darcy is there and fought some great opponents so that imo is why he is greater in the middleweight division.

Of course Geale has the opportunity to become the best middleweight Australia has produced.

My gripe was with your blatent disregard for many of our old timers simply because they never won one of those world title trinkets that are in abundence in todays fight game. Many of our old timers fought and beat much better oppostion and deserve to be mentioned when these topics arise.
