Martin Murray Vs Darren Barker

Anyone seen Murray's, Hatton's and Hearns Twitters? Some good talk of this match up happening. Apparantly Hearn was lying about saying he offered Team Murray the fight but I don't know a lot of the details about the whole situation. What do you guys think? Will this fight happen? And if it does who wins? Cheers.

 

Hearn has said on his twitter that he made an offer today and is awaiting a reply. Barker wins via UD.

 

Darren is a better boxer and should win on points.

I'd like to see Barker in with Geale tho (which ive read is an option)

 

I think Murray shud look more toward's getting a rematch with Sturm rather than a fight with Barker. But it's still a good fight. I'd pick Barker to win but you can't underestimate Murray.

 

They said something like Sturm wanted 50% of future earnings or some **** like that

 

Am I the only one who fancies Murray here?! I see it as near enough a 50-50 fight, slight edge to Barker but don't think Barker is the overwhelming favourite

 

Barker wins this, Martin performed really well against Sturm but Barker i think carry's the tool's to win this in a entertaining affair. UD.

 

This could well be chief support to Brook/Hatton, Wonder if they will match any other fighters on the bill, Would be a ******* :thumbsup

very close fight this and good for both i reckon, picking barker on points with both men being put down during the fight.

im a big fan of getting stuck in again straight after a loss and these two are doing it you can keep all those keeping busy, testing the water fights.

No chance this is a way big enough fight to get it's own tv date.

 

Barker wins this, and I'm certain that with fair judging he'd beat Sturm too.
