“Vitali has to get through the Chisora fight, but he won’t struggle against him,” Booth said. “Neither will Wladimir against Mormeck. He is a blow up light-heavy who is past his prime. If they are happy fighting people like that then good luck to them. These guys are three stone (42-pounds) heavier and five inches taller than their opponents and they expect to be lauded as all time greats, but I don’t buy it.”

bit harsh, Klitschko brothers have done their best with a poor division, you cannot blame them for that.

yeah training with a broom with a glove sure did work wonders for haye, dude is in no position to talk.
At the moment wlad is already an atg, vitali has atg skills but due to his weaker resume he is hof rather than atg.

Can you give me an example of a fighter you consider an atg heavyweight but not full stop?

:lol:good answer, im not sure i really consider Wladimir or Vitali ATG fighters, HOF maybe but ATG seems a stretch considering the state of the division, i think Wladimir just cracks the top20 ATG heavyweights and Vitali is just outside the top 25. Good fighters that dominated a weak division, few good wins here and there but nothing to shout about.:good

Think Wlad got into the top 15, and Vitali either top 25 or 20.
I find it hard to put 15 others infront of Wlad both on resume or h2h no matter how weak the division is.

Vitali does not have the resume but h2h i would rank him higher than Wlad.

I didnt either last year but he convinced me by dominating haye in a fight where basically his legacy was on the line bigtime, that along with the way he has redeemed himself, his long reign, decent resume gven the circumstances and because I feel he would be a highly ranked heavy in any era leads me to believe he is an atg, allthough I certainly get why people dont view it that way now.
But since he still has some years left and there doesnt seem to be anyone out there capable of beating him even the next few years.
I therefore think his longetivity will eventually make him go down in the historybooks as an atg, especially if he manages to unify all the belts eventually and reign for 10 years straight, that would be very impressive.

Thats fair enough, i think to make an ATG a fighter must have the compitition in place to beat and sometimes unfortunatley it doesnt always happen like that. Take Calzaghe for example, he is the epitome of longtivity but he had to wait almost 10 years after winning his title to have a career defining fight because the competition either wasnt there at the time or a few big names would not face him. Unfortunately for Calzaghe the division really picked up with qualtity just after he retired and hopefully the same thing wont happen for Wladimir as their seems to be a few talented boxers begining to make a name for themselves, if Wladimir can carry on into the next generation and pick up a few victories over some heavily touted talent his ranking would be elevated in my opinion.:good

Why has VK not provided David with a contract? David cannot be expected to continue waiting forever.

Adam Booth is like a modern day Moses, coming down from mount Sinai to impart devine boxing truth to the unenlightened masses of ESB.

Actually AB cleared himself pretty fast from the **** storm.

"David didn't do what I told him after third" -or something like that.

lol Wlad's resume? wtf are you talking about ... that is the biggest question mark over Wlad's credentials - he has never fought an elite HW - let alone an ATG heavyweight.

At least Vitali has a competitive fight with a past it ATG on his resume.
