Its an awful fight but I wouldnt put it past team Khan

    After Precott he fought MAB..jussayin

  3. I guarantee this, if Mosley has 50% left all of a sudden you won't like this fight, you will be crying with "team" Khan all the way back to the corner shop.

Shocking fight. Hope it's never made.

That's the only reason the fight might take place. The Barrera fight was simply so Khan could say he beat Marco Antonio Barrera and gloss over the fact it was a well past-prime Barrera. It's the same reason he was calling out Erik Morales. Beating Zab Judah didn't mean all that much to me, but at least Zab isn't shot to bits. The Mosley fight literally interests me about as much as the neds fighting down the local park all buzzed up on buckfast and cider.

The stories of Shane, one of my favourite fighters, getting beaten up by prospects in sparring were disturbing. That was pre-Mayweather.

He looked decent for five minutes against Mayweather - a cagey opening round and two big right hands. But look at round two closely - he was huffing and puffing as he dealt out damage, he struggled to put a series of shots together, he didn't step out to punching range when Floyd was trying to grab on, and he had nothing left after that.

The right hands in round two aside, he looked **** and it wasn't really down to Mayweather's defensive brilliance. He was just totally faded, as we saw in the Mora fight where he couldn't put any offence together.

He still has fast hands and big power, but his reflexes are shot to ****. He can't pull the trigger, so all we'd get is a tapping fest where Khan keeps outside of danger and Mosley lumbers around like the 40-year old he nearly is.

Yeah Mosley is just a name, a hyper real of himself...the real Shane was long gone.

Happens in boxing alot, especially at the lower weights, Khan and fwank did it with Barrera.

Mosley would take a guy like Khan out before 3 rounds.

Mosley first fight with Oscar De La Hoya was incredible, if anyone hasnt seen it...great fight.

    One word - Whitaker.

Some incredible lightweights of the last 30 years really.

Yeah I remember thinking that Khan after he had taken care of Barrera was going to be matched literally like Calazaghe, and then take on Morales...Castillo, big names that are way past it.

Though to be fair Khan left fwank, went on to take some tough assignments, but if the Mosley thing is true, then they are looking at fwanks old trick.

Maybe then Khan could take on Morales after, get De La Hoya out of retirement too. lol

Uh what? :huh Refrain from posting on your alt, I don't bite.

I can see that, but in my honest opinion, I don't think it's a bad fight. I think Khan is flawed enough for Shane, while not able to pull the trigger as good as he could before, still to give a good fight. Shane's still got a lot of power and fast hands. I'm pretty sure he landed a few to say the least, on Pacquiao. I like it anyway.

Also, just to throw this out there, Bradley fighting Casamayor is no better than Khan fighting Shane. Just saying.

Yeah, but why would anyone want to continue with young Vs shot fights? Just because Bradley fought Casamayor doesn't mean we should be fed anymore ****, especially as in this country the Khan fight woul be promoted with hard-to-stomach hyperbolic bull****.
