Weren't the reports that Mayweather wouldn't fight Canelo or Cotto past 150, and didn't he say he could fight Martinez if Sergio can make 150? Interested to see how you feel if any of those fights happen

Mayweather never said that he wanted to fight in November and the fight shouldnt happen in November,if it doesnt happen May 5th forget about it.

May 26th a few days before Mayweather goes to jail.

June 9th when Mayweather is already in jail.

November,Mayweather will only have 2 months to train.

    Nice try haters

A 30 second commercial run during this year's Super Bowl costs $3.5 million. Only big companies usually buy ads during the Super Bowl. If Floyd has 2 spots, that's $7 million to promote his next fight.

I find it strange Floyd (or GBP) would spend that amount for a Floyd vs. "anyone lesser than Pac" fight.

Hoping this is a good sign.

They ain't gonna spend that much on a Floyd/pac fight in the total advertising budget. The return simply isn't there.

More proof that they already have a fight, date, and venue made. I'll reserve further comments when it is announced.

Why not? The whole USA tunes in to the Super Bowl (111 million tuned in the last Super Bowl). Just imagine how many more casual fans would potentially buy that fight if they advertised in right. $7 million is nothing if it's wisely spent. $7 million is 100,000 PPV buys at $70.

the fight's not happening. the cost for that ad comes out of Floyd and GBP's pocket. Not Arum's.

Is this even official? I doubt it. 4 mil bucks for a 3 minute ad. Not worth the money since the fight will sell itself.

We'll see, but I doubt direct SB ads. Bigger companies that run multiple adds will get the choice placement time wise. I don't watch the Super Bowl. I have no interest in it. Likewise $7 mill is a lot to bet on changing minds. Too much time passes between the SB and May 5. That means you have to keep it out in front of the same audience.
