Pac- Floyd who deserve biggest part ?

Because it is the biggest money fight in the history of mankind and us boxing fans do not want another snoozefest with the world watching like Oscar vs Floyd...it would ensure that both fighters give a true 100% effort and raise the stakes that much higher...and if they promoted this agreement it would make the ppv sales that much higher and in return. Everyone would win, the fans, the promoters, the fighters and it wild truly get some interest in the media. And you know Floyd would be all about it and manny would have the pressure of his country , if not the world to take it, now they real question is why wouldn't anyone want it?

 

they are both international stars. 55/45 to the winner.

none of these guys need to be quarreling over 5% (even if that means a few million).

the real issue is the bragging rights.

The loser would lose.
Imagine if one of them gets robbed.
Imagine a 5th round td while one fighter is slowly turning the tables.
Imagine a bs stoppage ?
Legal sucker punch ?

 

The loser would still make tens of millions, it most likely won't go the distance, they will have the pressure to have a great ref for the biggest fight in the history of the world. A legal sucker punch is exactly that, legal. PAC and Floyd both know this, dumbass Ortiz is not in the equation....I say make the fight a 15 rounder (if it's still possible to do) that would get people talking about boxing again . Much more pros then cons if the winner gets a bigger piece of the pie

 

They both make similar PPV so that's a 50/50 but when you bring into account that Floyd fight ticket are more special than PAC fight ticket...Floyd fight ticket come with a free room, free buffet, and a free limo ride. You just have to give it to Floyd 60/40.

 

So what are the facts regarding PPV numbers?

I like the 60-40, but that will never happen.

The reality is, without Pacquaio, nobody gives a **** what Floyd is doing.

Pac spent that last few years conquering opponents, the media and the PI.

Floyd spent the past few years on vacation, in court and talking ****.

50-50 more than fair for Floyd, who has nothing but Cotto or Martinez out there that anyone wants to see.

Meanwhile, Pac could be fighting Mickey Mouse and people would buy that ****.

If they do fight, I think Floyd wins it and they have a rematch the following year, then Pac retires. I don't think Pac has enough left for a Gatti-Ward Trilogy with Mayweather.

You don't care if the fight pushes through or not. You don't even f*cking care about boxing the only thing you care is floyd. As long as floyd would always look right in your image, you're ok with it. 'To hell with May-Pac fight, Floyd is always right'

The more marketable fighter is the most diplomatic answer. And I'd venture to say most actuaries, financiers, et al would logically say Manny.

 

The reasoning Floyd and his fans use are that he averaged more in his fights since the DLH fight which did 2.4M buys.

The problem with that is it was way back in 2007, when DLH was the major star and cash cow and Floyd was a B-side for that fight. It was also the first time 24/7 was used for a fight.

If you average their fights as A-sides after DLH, it's pretty much even, Floyd with a slight, negligible edge.

They also use average against common opponents, again the DLH fight pushes Floyd's average way up. Each fight vs common opponents also happened at different times and when economies were fluctuating up and down, and also the opponents were at different stages in their careers. Their average vs common opponents as A-sides is actually the same.

The reason why Floyd cannot demand 50-50 though is that Pacquiao has outsold him in 2 of the past 3 years, when they were going head to head as PPV stars.

Pacquiao's top 3 fights also generated slightly more money than Floyd's 3 fights since 2009... and that's without the Mosley/Hatton/Clottey fights which brought in an extra $170 million
