    :rofl

Yeah I think so too.. When Oscar boxed Tito he made him look silly, and did a great job counter punching as well.

Yeah Mosley was out of his Prime when he fought Margo, but he fought Pac at 147; Which is why I used that version of Shane. At 135 IMO he beats Pac.

De La Hoya's first 9 rounds vs. Trinidad is one of the greatest boxing performances in the past 15 years. It's about hitting and not getting hit and oscar did that perfectly that night. And he did win that fight. Outlanding your opponent by 120 punches is enough to get the win unless you're fighting Don King's fighters.
Also, Oscar won a fukin Gold Medal. More than Floyd can say. He won the biggest fight of his life before he ever went pro.

I don't believe the Hatton that fought Pac was any different to the Hatton that fought Tszyu.

ODLH that fought Tito and Mosley that beat Margo were better versions of those fighters though I'll give you that, especially Oscar.

I still think that stylistically Pacquiao would be too much even for the best ww Oscar, and I think Pac would beat the Margo version of Mosley, but the Mosley of the 1st Oscar fight in 2000 would beat Manny at 147. That version of Shane was a physical phenomenon, and only the very biggest, strongest, heaviest and best ww's could've beaten that guy.

You've got to be kidding me if you think there was a major difference between Mosley-Margarito and Mosley-Pacquiao. If there was, it's only the good and bad performances between those fights. Mosley fought Margarito @ 147 as well.

A fight @ 135 between the 2 would have been a good one and I won't argue if you think Mosley beats him there.

I don't think there's much of a difference. I think that particular Shane would have been more aggressive and put out a much better fight, but still would have lost. I do remember seeing people here scream bloody murder about Shane being washed up when it was announced he would fight Pac though.

I'd understand if a Hatton fan reacts like this. Even so, a Pacquiao-type of fighter is very wrong for any version of Hatton you can come up with. I'd even bet to you that even Valero would have had even knocked him out easy if only the 2 two would have met in the ring. :nono

Shane has already started to slowly decline even since he's had consecutive losses around Forrest, Wright and Cotto. The reason he continued to perform great was that he was facing notable fighters with limited skills ie. Mayorga, Margarito. His skills was still there but you only need to be a good technical fighter who knows how to take advantage on their flaws to be able to beat those type of fighters. Not saying it was easy but Shane certainly has the tools to do that even with his decline of reflex and athleticism.

Just a question, why do you think Shane was on the bicycle against Pacquiao? Tbh, it would have been very interesting to see had Mosley tried to be aggressive against him but he just didn't. It would have been fun and I would have liked to see what happens in there

Hatton would beat Valero into submission. DeMarco is the mans best win! He had one fight at Lightweight and his 100% KO record is a tool designed to hype dumb arsed 'fans' of Boxing. Hatton would of been too big, too strong for Valero, Hatton had faster feet too.

Pacquiao beats all of them except for maybe Oscar; who physically would have been too big. If he was shrunk to a more fair size, then Pacquiao would bust him up.

It's hard to say how good Valero was, because he ****ed off by the time it came for him to really show his worth. But based on what I saw from him against De Marco, he was on course to become something special. Hatton, who has always struggled with southpaws, would not have beaten Valero "into submission". If you put Hatton, even in his prime, against what I think Valero would have gone onto become, I'd put good money on that maniac to beat him.

You're just basing it on his profile of wins but let's face it. No fighter has ever done all fights with KOs (more than 65% 1st rd) even against tomato cans - only Valero. DeMarco is his best win you say? Then what happened to Linares? How about DelaHoya in sparring? and Morales?

I'm not really a Valero fan just to remind you but I think you're just overrating Hatton a little bit.

It's up in the air, Valero had only recently became a LW when he passed. Hatton was a very physical JWW and very different stylelistically from anybody I re-call Valero facing.

Valero had 18 consecutive first round KO's, all against guys who wouldn't even be deemed good enough to enter a Prizefighter tournament here in the UK. It's a leap of faith to pick him to beat Hatton, who gets crapped on here on this Forum.
