I know you his fans will not like this but truth hurts that is what they say,I am a Cotto fan but unbias type,I do believed that Margarito loaded his gloves against Cotto but my $1 Million questions are Why did Cotto not fight Margarito right after Margarito lost to Mosley? Why did Cotto wait for Manny Pacquiao to help him destroy Margarito's face before he called him out?If you are a cotto fan i will appreciate a good legitimate answer as we boxing fans have different perspectives and opinions.

I don't think so. Cotto is a warrior a good for the sport. Not all the boxers have the same cojones of fighting anyone like Cotto have.

because Bob Arum needed another fighter he could feed to Pac and make millions off of.

Margarito was suspended for a year then obviously needed a fight with a low ranking opponent to try and shake the ring rust.

Because Margarito was banned for a year after the Mosley scandal and then fought a tune up against some nobody whilst Cotto regained the Welterweight title and won a legitimate LMW title.

When Margarito was ready to fight Cotto Arum saw dollar signs and had him fight Pacquiao first so he could build him up to be some unstoppable force.

Margarito then had to leave his eye heal and finally take on Cotto.

Seriously you shouldnt be so quick to call people frauds behind a keyboard

General Forum needs a standard IQ test before it allows people to post.

How about self confidence. After taking more than 6 months off after the brutal brickhanded margs put on him, he fought consecutive no hopers in Jennings and Clottey(albeit Clottey is a decent fringe contender). He then fought and was schooled by Pac. Money seemed more important than revenge at that moment I suppose.
After that not so brutal, but equally discouraging schooling, he needed to rebuild his confidence again with 2 more easy fights. Knowing that Foreman was a gritty but hopeless Bclass contender and Mayorga was a slow, plodding slugger, he could easily make those fights and regain the confidence to gain revenge vs margs.
Just IMO. Seems how he's done it recently. If he is to be schooled once more by say.......PhonyMay.......look for him to fight the likes Paul Williams or Kermit Cintron.....both name fighters, niether with a snowballs chance in hell at winning a fight with Cotto.:deal
