I've got a cousin like that. Uses both hands predominantly lefty though, but throws a baseball with his right as well as some other things. Its a major advantage in a lot of daily tasks as well as sports...Pretty cool for Kelly

Kell is ambidextrous. His power is pretty equal in both hands, which is why his jab is very thudding and why Jack tried to emphasize him using it and setting up feints with it.

If his mind is clear... He'll be a middleweight champ again and a wrecking ball at SMW.

People forget quickly that KP has lightning rod power in that right and is also a tough BAMF. I can still see him sparking a few guys before his career is over.

I found Garcia's comment about weight possibly going up once conditioning starts a little disturbing. I'm not sure they are doing the right conditioning if his weigh goes up.

I wouldn't think that it's that unusual; it sounds like they're trying to add a little beef on Pavlik to deal with the bigger and stronger guys he's likely to face at 168.

Sounds like a good move to me, given the intention to fight at 168. Lord knows, Pavlik isn't exactly overflowing with muscle mass!

I think I saw that Kelly is at 173 at the moment, so 168 should be a healthy fighting weight for him without having to drain down to 160.

All in all, it's looking interesting to say the least, especially the left handed stuff - I had no idea.

I'm pretty sure as much as conditioning it will probably have a lot to do with nutrition.. I'm sure a good nutritionist may pack on some extra lean muscle he may not have been getting from moms cooking lol....

He's too stationary to beat either guy IMO.

I would assume you're right. Kelly has very little upper body mass. The majority of his weight was carried in his legs. He was killing himself to get down to 160.

No but he would land a lot of bombs on him. Which stationary fighter did Abraham lose to? Exactly.

Upper body mass has never been a problem with his punch power. Adding it now could be detrimental to speed. Still, 13 pounds is a lot to lose and I doubt he carries much fat at that weight. Let's see what he weighs after a hard work out when he sweats it off. I used to be able to lose 7 pounds during morning football practices and I was about 150 at the time.

You could draw a 3 foot circle in the ring and make Kelly stand in it and Abraham WILL NOT come forward through Kelly's jab.

His jab didn't stop Alfonso Lopez from coming forward and landing flush combinations.

Kelly, I was up after 8 against Martinez, Pavlik is considered stationary for a guy like Aruther, I like to lay on the ropes and wave people in, Abraham? Seriously? Abraham come forward against a puncher? Lujaun Simon split his guard.
