Stop overrating rigo, he hasn't even reach the 10th mark yet. Right now he's like David Reid status before trinidad. Donaire is the man, if he gonna fight a cuban then it should have the same amount of deal place on the table. They're both on par in terms of star power, rigo just not yet.

Donaire knows he won't fight Gamboa, he's just bluffing and ducking.

Donaire calling out Gamboa like Rios too? Wonder what he'd expect Gamboa to come in at though...

How can he be ducking Gamboa? If like he said Gamboa is moving up. Rigondeaux is someone he should fight maybe a good fight for the end of the year, probably won't happen though.

I don't like those comments at all. I understand he's a prize fighter, but as a top p4p fighter he's held to a different standard. We want to see him fight the best in his division. Why would I have him as the 3rd best fighter in the world (just to say a #) when I'm not sure if a guy in his division is actually better than him and not even considered a top 10 p4p by most? Fight the best (Rigondeaux) in your division. Gamboa will be there for you at least by the end of this year to make it a super fight, Rigo might only get riskier and stain your resume if you avoid him.

Nishioka is the best in the division, not Rigondeaux

boxing snobs here have annointed the Cuban due to their elitism favoring slick black fighters

Nishioka vs Rigondeaux :bbb the winner faces Donaire after he fights Arce!
I think Rigo is better than Nishioka but, Nishioka does have probably the best argument in resume to be considered the man at 122lbs. But my eyes tell me something else. Hopefully it can be settled in the ring.

sounds like a duck. Gamboa is weight classes ahead of him and moving up. Rigondeux IS IN HIS DIVISION and on top of his game. something tells me he wants nothing to do with Rigo.

Rigondeaux just responded on The Scene labeling Donaire a Top Rank Traitor and says he'll agree to fight him in a 15 foot ring, where he'll put Nonito to sleep. He says when he's done with him, Donaire can shoot pictures permanently.

****, I'd forgotten about the attempted bolt to GBP. Depending on what Arum thinks he will do at the end of the current contract this could affect what Arum does with him in terms of match making. If he believes Donaire bolts (Arum did basically call his wife a slut) he could set Nonito up with a larger guy that he thinks will destroy him.
