Floyd Patteron vs Ingamar Johansson 1,2 and 3. Floyd struggles to get beyond the jab in the first fight. He is kept at bay and finally dropped with one hell of a right hand in the 3rd round. Patterson was dropped 6 more times before the fight was stopped in the 3rd. The second fight - Patterson successfully gets inside the Ingamar jab, and brutalises his man in the 5th. The Swiss is reportedly unconcious for 5 minutes before being helped onto his stall. Patterson became the first HW to successfully regain the championship. 12 had tried, 12 had failed :yep The rubber match - Started at a manic pace. Ingamar drops Patterson hard twice in the 1st round, before Floyd knocks Ingamar down in the same round. Patterson went to the body, wearing his man down, before finally knocking him out in the 6th.
