Is it Floyd Mayweather Jr, Charley Burley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Benny Leonard, Willie Pep, Gene Tunney or someone else? Who do you think and why?
I think Tunney is as good a pick as anyone for someone that made all his moves perfectly or close to it. Low hands though. He'd be my pick off that list I guess.
Pep is fundamentally sound, so yeah i've got no problem with that pick either. I don't know if i'd describe him exactly in the terms the OP meant though, but he'll be the judge of that I guess. What I mean is, Pep didn't box all that correctly.
Then the answer would automatically become the most successful boxer in the replying poster's eyes, wouldn't it?
