Also can you provide a little info on whoo is who. The guy in the long trousers wouldn't look out of place in modern MMA

 

I was going to make a Pioneer thread to see who first started doing what after watching that I wish I had.

Those elbows from Goosen looked very sore right to the back/shoulders wouldn't fancy one of them.

Blinky Rodriguez is in the white pants. Blinky is Benny Urquidez' brother-in-law. I don't know much about Goodson.

CT is/was a legend on here. Dude goes on these long sabbaticals and we never see him for a few years and then he comes back. He had a thread on here a while back , im sure it was stickied, that was full up with old footage and rare MMA techniques. If you want to learn something about this sport listen to that dude. REAL TALK.

 

A scrappy affair. But hints there of what was to come years later alright.

Interesting to read some of the comments under the Youtube vid. Some of which amount to "what are the rules there" and "are there any rules at all".
