Pavlik is a modern day example of a guy whose punches don't snap but cause damage.

Foreman could knock someone out with the air from a swing, he had godly power. His knockout punch on Mike Moorer was among the most impressive K.O's in history, becouse Georges punches travled such a short distance and looked so completely effortless.

 

Foreman, Little Red and Oscar were the ones who first came to mind.

Some of Hamed's knockouts had that feel about them (eg Bungu, Kelley, Robinson, Ingle)

 

Why the hell are people naming Foreman? if there's someone that LOOKED like a hard puncher, it's him.

 

That right hand Pavlik knocked Zertuche out with didn't look that that fast, or like he had much leverage on it...but damn!!! I thought the guy was dead.

I thought some of Durans punches looked like he was throwing his arm, eventually Barkleys eye was swollen as hell.

 

When Wlad laid out Chambers, that punch didn't look hard at all.

Why do people keep mentioning Moorer as a example.
If anyone had a fragile chin it was him, so to use him as a example of a not very hard looking KO ... well duh.

How about Bute vs Andrade 2, that first left hand that put Andrade down looked soft as hell and it still put a proven tough chinned guy down.

Julian Jackson landed some routine looking punches that knocked guys out cold.

Danny Lopez also landed punches that looked rather routine but those punches destroyed his oponents.

 

I think theyre talking only about his second career, his first career you could really see him throwing his whole body into it, they looked brutal. A few of the late fights, like moorer and cooney, the punches didnt look hard, but you could see they were from the results.

Yes! That is one of the biggest misconceptions I see spread around, that Foreman's KO over Moorer was a one punch KO. People repeat it after reading others say it and not watching the fight, Foreman landed a left right that hurt Moorer and then landed it a second time to put him down. He landed that combo in the earlier rounds too. It wasnt a lucky punch, as he landed it many times and Moorer was a dumb ass for squaring up in front of him, it was his fault.
