I think you're aware that the figure is not only from prizemoney and salaries alone. The #50 on that list earned $18.8 million. Maybe Floyd just actually earned $18.7 for that time period.

 

As a student of economics. I know an oligopoly when I see one. These two guys are going to run the game until they can't squeeze it anymore, then they are going to retire and live off the hype. Niether of them really wants a piece of the other. Maybe Floyd would want Manny, cause lets face it he'd probably win but he's got too much pride to pay Manny the ransom he'd request for giving up his claim to being thebest and his at the same time jepordizing his political career. So instead we get detante.

 

So then why do they list 25 million fool?

 

Floyd should give Pac 50/50 since its such an easy fight for him. He wins, Pac retires. Its a win win.

Are you ******ed? They list 25 million for the Margarito fight, which is about right since he was guaranteed 15 and probably earned another 8 to 10 in PPV revenue. So either he made very little from endorsements or he earned very little from PPV, take your pick, in the end, it supposedly only added up to 25 million.
