135 was closer to his prime and this fight is tough to call for me even though Chavez is my favorite Mexican fighter and Pac is my 5th favorite Pinoy fighter

I could see it going both ways. Pacquiao could have great success darting in and out on Chavez hardly ever giving him a target to corner while peppering him, but at the same time, Chavez could time & counter him well and follow up the shots that get Manny off balance with intelligent pressure to blister him on the inside and control his movement/output.

 

Pac beats him to the punch and wins a decision.

Here's what would happen---Chavez will try to press Pac, realize he's getting beaten repeatedly to the punch, however, his "Mexican" pride won't allow him to take a step back ultimately losing a lopsided UD or getting stopped late. That is the most likely scenario.
