Gamboa easily wins vs. Rios

Am I the only one that sees this? I know Rios outweighs Gamboa, but Gamboa is very quick, and is not the type of boxer to just stand there and trade shots. We know he has power, and sure he's been down before, but I'd bet on Gamboa in a not so difficult fight.

Rios before six. You can't run from a guy like Rios. He's gonna catch you eventually.

No running at all.....just good movement.....you really think Rios would dispose of Gamboa faster than he handled the last guy he fought on the Cotto/Margarito undercard?

Gmboas ego will make it a though fight.
I am sure that Garcia will have Rios throwing some easy shots because Gamboa likes to prove he is better.

Styles make fights. Doesn't matter about movement or running. Rios is a pressure fighter and gets to his opponent no matter what. You think guys like Peterson and Acosta wanted to stand and fight with him? Absolutely not, but they didn't have a choice with all the pressure and body punching. I see Rios getting to Gamboa a lot faster than he did with Peterson and Acosta.

at what weight class? at 126 (if RIos ever made it that low) I would give a slight edge to Gamboa for Rios draining himself but anything above 135 I would say Rios all the way. Bam Bam is a natural WW and balloons up his weight fight night and one flush punch from Rios and its game over.

Rios batters him for as long as it lasts. Complete mismatch.

    Rios.

Gamboa jumping up 2 divisions? He's not young anymore. We don't know how he'll handle that.

Bam Bam is much more than just a come forward fighter, his inside game is great. He has power also. I think it will be a great fight, i love Gamboa's footwork and speed, i want to see how Rios copes with that, and then when Gamboa starts getting cut off i want to see how he reacts when Bam Bam has him trapped. Right now i'm leaning towards Bam Bam. Hope this fight happens at some point.
