Why do you guys always say this? It's not true. The numbers do not back that up. Pac had the highest grossing fight and gate in 2 of the last 3 years, including last year.

Who knows, but Floyd not only has to match that on his end, but would also be buying into the promotion, concessions, merchandise, etc. etc.

He's gotta be getting backing from Haymon on that. Even Arum was saying he could only guarantee Manny's purse at 60 mill.

Probably? :rofl $40 million in the US makes you rich. $40 million in the Phillipines gives you Jesus Christ status.

Road block after road block after road block.
And as if Pac is asking for the lion's share. Not to mention he'll take way way way waaaaaaaay less than what Floyd would take home.

    God damn Floyd.

I agree, that's why you negotiate. You don't say "no deal" and hang up with a hard nosed negotiator because you'll get walked on.

I just don't see this as the end all that most are having a knee-jerk reaction too.

+PPV%...That's a big difference from 40 mill with no PPV...Floyd makes Arum look generous :-(

Yea, and it's a really aggressive stance. But I don't think it would be impossible from that point for a good negotiator to work up to getting a good percentage of the PPV revenue.

Scintillating post. I'm sure I'll get on the phone and let him know. :rofl:patsch

And second of all, if Pac did this, I wouldn't care, cause IT'S BUSINESS. As long as negotiations took place from that point on, it wouldn't matter to me. What a little **** you are...

    Void is void.

Void, Sr. said that Void, Jr. would never fight Pac. He said that right after Pac stopped Cotto. Void is extremely afraid! However, Void is not afraid to beat up women!

If $40 mil is 30%, then Manny would lose out on $26.67 mil if he took the $40 mil. Very wise of Pacquaio.

    You guys?

I say it because it is true. Look at their PPV numbers against common opponents. Mayweather beats him every time with the exception of Marquez (who already had two very close showings against Manny and who nobody even thought could compete with Floyd, and he couldn't). Now factor in the fact that Mayweather-Ortiz did very close to the same PPV revenue (because the PPV cost $10 more) as Pacquiao-Marquez 3, and I don't think I need to explain how much more drawing power Marquez brings to the table against Pacquiao than does Ortiz against Floyd.

How funny that suddenly 50-50 is not good enough for Pac.

Take the test and we have a fight?
    May 5 MGM grand?

    Williams-Martinez "I'll fight the winner"-esque?

    Bull****
