If this is true, Floyd is worse than I thought. He is not more of a drawcard than PAC. Maybe he sees it as negotiating, but I really can't give a **** about this fight now. These two are good, but not atg fighters. Floyd has avoided anything with a pulse and PAC was shown up against JMM for his single dimensional ability.

Move on, let us never speak of these two. PAC, sorry but move on and prove yourself with a few more fights or quit with your head held high.

Common opponents way back to 2007, with the world economy having gone through the volatile changes it did in that time, and through varying stages of their opponents' careers. It's not right to compare opponents that way.

You make excuses why Ortiz-Mayweather drew and made less than Pac-Marquez, yet before that fight Marquez was used as a common opponent to favor Mayweather. What about Pac fighting Mosley when he was seen as shot, compared to when Floyd fought him as a threat? How do you adjust those numbers?

Also with DLH, they were both B-sides, Mayweather vs Oscar was seen as competitive, Oscar-Pac was seen as complete mismatch. It is not relevant to today when both are megastars themselves.

As A-sides, go and do the math and you'll find they average about the same vs common opponents (1.123M Floyd vs 1.12M Pac). In the last three years when they have been going head to head as megastars they also average the same in their 3 biggest fights (1.27M Pac vs 1.23M Floyd).. only Pac had the highest selling and grossing fight in 2 of those 3 years.

You cannot justify more than 50% for Floyd other than cherry picking favorable numbers like with common opponents going back to 2007 with the record breaking DLH fight skewing his numbers when Oscar was the megastar.

What's the biggest purse either fighter has taken home?

Then compare it to the projections of this fight. Compare this purse to the largest purse any fighter has taken home in boxing history.

How much money do these guys want from one fight?

This is why boxing is dying.

Marquez was not used as a common opponent to favor Mayweather. Pacquiao-Marquez was the only instance where Pacquiao outsold Mayweather against a common opponent, and it was also Pacquiao's best selling PPV to date. If I was cherry picking I'd probably throw the Clottey fight in there without ad******g for the fact that he can't draw flies to ****, but no, I'm not a fanboy like yourself so I use the best data available (fights against common opponents) to come to an objective conclusion.

Maywaether De La Hoya generated 120 mil with PPV and 19 mil at the gate.
Floyd wants to walk away with 100 mil and lets not forget the advertisers.
