Name me a fighter who is considered an ATG and yet didn't dominate his division and didn't beat a great fighter. Just one.

The K'brothers dominates the division just fine. They stop their opponents, knocks them out or win wide UD's. Nobody have made it even close with them for several years. That part of your argument is not legit.

"Great" is something you become afterwards. Some boxers have been labeled as such much because they where active while the sport was a whole lot bigger. If Wladdy boy was around during the glorious 70's he would most likely have gathered losses as well as wins against "greats", thus he would have been considered "great" himself. "Greatness" in this sport is like a virus. To get it you have to share the ring with someone who is already infected, but it tells us little about head to head abillity.

Haye would have KO'd several "greats" thanks to beeing a more talented athlet.

You used Wlad vs Haye as an example of Wlad not beeing able to dominate, but he won nine out of twelve rounds. So obviously only a KO or stoppage would have been sufficient, and Wlads KO record is close to perfect.

 

Like I said, name me a single fighter who didn't dominate the division and didn't beat an ATG, who is considered to be a great himself?

Why is it so fashionable to hate on the Klitschko's? You would of thought a few might brake the mold and not be so predictable as to hate on them just cause everyone else does, but nope, its the same old same old. How about just giving them some respect for their class, professionalism, and domination of the division.

 

They can maybe one day make it to the HOF but ATG nope that division/era says otherwise, ATG should be reserved for guys like Ali, Leonard, Duran etc that terms is thrown around way too loosely these days.

I'm saying that the Klitschkos haven't dominated, yes. Wlad has lost in two world title fights and Vitali lost to the two best fighters he has fought. How can anyone possibly say they've dominated? There is no justification for such a claim.

Has Wlad dominated since his losses? Absolutely, yes. Has Vitali? Pretty much. However, to discard their losses would be ignorant of the facts.

I can ignore Wlad's loss to Purrity. That's not really relevant to the discussion we're having but the other two losses in his career, and the two in Vitali's career, are the reason neither can be said to have truly dominated. To me, dominating a division is like what Holmes did.
