floyd and his fans doesn't need to worry how pac's gonna spend his split. you are acting like all that floyd is getting is for free. he pays GBP to promote his fights. he is paying the US government his taxes. he is paying haymon his good amount of share. he is paying ellerbe for his unique role in his camp. he is paying roger and his steroid-laden bodyguards.

This fight will make close to 200 millions (PPV, gates etc) and floyd wants to give 40$ to PAC? Yeah it's more like 70/30. Floyd is a genius better than ARUM.

What i dont get and correct me if im wrong.

But the PPV numbers are numbers only in America Yes.

What i want to know and im only guessing here but do HBO get the money from Overseas Companies buying the rights to Air the fights for a Undisclosed fee with that company keeping what they Sell.

See i read there was 37.2 Million viewers in Mexico alone for this fight.

So what im wondering to do international fighters such as Marquez or Pac get revenue from Overseas PPV and if so it would blow the whole

Mayweather has more viewers and better PPV numbers out of the water.

Because if you really could find out international numbers i believe Manny Pacquiao would out sell Floyd Mayweather by double.

Why because of the Asian factor.

I mean 37.2 million viewers for Marquez mate compared to 1.4 for Floyd in the USA.

It was on free to Air in Mexico but its not the point.

“He [Mayweather] said he would guarantee me $40 million but I won’t have any share on the pay per view and other sources of revenue. How can he leave me out of the pay per view when I generate more than him in pay per view sales? I am still praying that Mayweather gets enlightened because I believe that I am not being unreasonable.” Actually, Mayweather’s deal would work out to be the same as the 60-40 deal that he offered Pacquiao, so it’s not as if Mayweather is being unreasonable or anything by giving Pacquiao a flat payment. The way thing is going to work out is that Mayweather will probably get close to $60 million, whereas Pacquiao will get $40 million. That’s still roughly twice what Pacquiao has been getting to face guys like Juan Manuel Marquez, Antonio Margarito and Shane Mosley.

That’s a good deal for Pacquiao because he’ll still get two fights worth of money in one bout. He needs to accept that offer if he’s smart because he won’t make that money anywhere else."

I'm not saying he should "take" the deal, but to flatly reject it and walk over it is stupid...so he'll walk from this deal to go fight somone else and make half the money? I guess I don't see the point.

Floyd/Oscar did 2.4 with this fight being much more anticipated! It's pretty much guaranteed to break all records.

$40 million is a joke! your talking about a fight that could draw 3.5 million homes at $75 dollars each that is that is $262 million, plus a $30 million + hosting fee from MGM, then you got sponsors, international tv rights etc, If Pacquiao takes $40 million, Mayweather would be taking home $90-110 million easily.

Floyd ends up losing out on his career high pay day if he doesn't fight PAC as well. It's in their best interest to face one another and to split the profits. But we'll see how this plays out. I called it a long time ago that the purse split would be Floyd's excuse not to fight PAC... we'll see I'm right.

If Cotto is gonna fight someone he might as well fight Floyd... he hasn't lost to him yet like he has PAC and he says Floyd will agree to fight at 154... PAC is reluctant. Go the path of least resistance and make that money Cotto.

I think Pacquiao should get something from the gate. 50/50 would be fair.

MGM will bring in more money then a ****ing Arena.

  10. I see what you're saying, but PBF won't make that sort of money either. But mainly it's a pride and ego thing with both of them. I maintain they are both ****s. Pac is an idiot for walking away, dude needs to get on the phone and negotiate.

oscar was a bigger draw than both these guys, and boxing doesn't have the drawing power it used to, so, i ask again, where are you finding this claim...i assume you just made it up out of nowhere

Before Oscar fought Floyd he had less PPV sales to his name than Pac has today. Significantly less. Pac vs Floyd will break 2.4Mil that's almost guaranteed.

You just said boxing doesn't have the drawing power it used to, yet Pac and Floyd are doing over 1 Mil in almost every fight, with better PPV figures than Oscar used to have.
