  1. It's potentially a fair question, and I'd appreciate someone fairly answering it. It's not just Asian audiences, but global audience I'm interested in.

You can draw a couple of conclusions here. Maybe Floyd's seriously deluded and still lives in 2008 where he once was the undisputed face of boxing. His head could be sooo far up his ass that maybe he actually and truly believes Pac is just an "opponent" he's doing a favor for by selflessly giving 40 mil. Or quite possibly, he's using all the media attention from this so-called negotiation to sell a May 5th fight with somebody else. I mean according to his own lawyer they already had this whole **** set up from as way back as Nov.2. And finally, maybe...just maybe; he never had any real intention of fighting Manny, at least not now....and just using all this posturing to save face.

...but no matter how you look at it, whichever case may be, they're all douche-bag moves.

  4. Prime Oscar also never had 24/7's.
Also, the internet plays a much, much larger role now than it did back then. There's so much more publicity through various sources now. If Oscar was in his prime today, chances are he'd beat Pac and Mayweather PPV-wise. Even so, DLH/Trinidad did more sales than any of Pac or PBF's fights barring PBF/DLH.

Edit: Actually, it would be close between Mayweather and Pac.

normally something like this would be discussed by both as part of the negotiations. obviously both sides will want to get the better of the deal. but who are we kidding? arum stops right here. no fight this may. let's all move on and stop supporting these two until they learn to negotiate properly and make the fight.

bs offer from floyd too considering how delicate this fight is from being made.

Pac's guarantee was $20mil. Not including ppv revenue. Floyd's $40mil came from purse guarantee + ppv revenue.

So much for Pac only making $7.5mil as his highest payday. :hi:

I absolutely agree that this is huge money for Floyd too and he won't make this money anywhere else. So he shot him a low ball offer (60/40 is low ball IMO), but that's kind of the point of negotiations...Manny wants 50/50, Floyd counters 60/40, we meet in the middle on 55/45...the walk away **** is dissappointing.

We all know pac don't see half of that money. :rofl

arum already takes 27 percent of his purse, god knows how much he takes off his ppv revenue.

I honestly think that Floyd's offer of a flat fee with no ppv upside was so ridiculous that team Pac see's it as Floyd not being serious and just playing games. That is a joke of a counter offer.

What Pac gives Arum does not dictate what the purse split for him vs Floyd should be. What Pac gives Arum does in no way effect Floyd.

I'd def walk away from it if I was not that desperate in gaining money.
Imagine bending over someone whom you sued and not getting a fair cut?
