Back then the purse isn't a problem.
It only became a problem when Floyd insisted it to become a problem.

I think he wants to low ball Arum. Manny will have about 30 mil. With that money he can a lot of good in the Philippines. Its enough to get elected as the president.

why take $30M when you can get at least a guaranteed $30M for this fight not counting the PPV upside and other revenues?

Yes he is Low Balling him.

Yes its alot of money to anyone. Its prob even the most money Manny has ever been paid.

But there's not a chance Manny's Side will take 40 million and let Mayweather Earn 60 million.

They want a 50/50 split which is what is fair!!

How F'ing hard is this to understand.

Do we even know for certain that in 2009, all the money issues were agreed upon???

Could it be Floyd used OSDT as a way to hide the fact he was outpricing himself from a fight, thus turning the public opinion against Pac???

considering how hard it has been to make this fight, how can floyd still make an offer that pac/tr would have a hard time agreeing to? 50-50 is fair and would allow everyone to earn the most money. pushing for more with the risk of the fight now happening at all is bs.

True. I am just thinking that Manny can call Floyd´s "bluff".
They should negotiate. I have yet to hear Floyds say: "You take 40mil or no fight".

so Pac should agree to take less because he's Filipino.

and Floyd should get more because he's American.

I don't think anyone knows enough about the business to really say.

but if the most amount of money pacquiao has ever seen in a fight is 27 million. That means that arum is probably robbing his little ass blind. I think at the end of hte day floyd doesn't want arum to get a piece
