you know floyd should just focus on getting a fair bargain just to get the fight done instead of trying too hard to be a promoter-investor-boxer as you say.

What would the reaction be if Arum offered Floyd $55mil guarantee and no PPV revenue?

everyone knows this fight wont be happening in spring. let these 2 guys fight whoever it is that they really want to fight. we all know that they both have their pick of anyone from 140 to 160 so lets see who generates more revenue in their next fight. the b side doesnt matter because unwillingness to fight a legitimate opponent also affects interest and revenue so lets see who really is the cash cow of boxing.

i don't agree with mayweather but when Mayweather was supposed to go to jail wasn't manny saying he would take the smaller share just to make the fight happen for the fans?

He renounced that on his web site well prior to this 'bend over' offer. Anyhow, smaller doesn't equal WAY SMALLER.

I already have in another thread. This just suports the case in a very strong way that Mayweather is deserving of a larger share as he makes more money per fight.

You sad ****s are more interested in the outside the ring bull**** than inside the ring it seems.

Wake me up when/if these 2 **** heads ever grow some balls & sign, until then I`ll be treating every thread like this just like this.

You're wasting you time w/ Thawwk888. He's nothing but a over defensive fanboy who thinks Floyd only pleaded guilty to assault on his ex because his trial defense could cost TENS of millions. Against the lady where he STILL believes Floyd never laid a finger on. And his reason? "TMZ had pics of Rhianna. Where's the pics of Josie"
Floyd fanboys are a ****in disgrace. :-(

Mayweather would have to pay back those investors though as they are going to want to make a return on there investment which again takes away from the pot. If investors give Mayweather promotions the money to use up front they are going to want that back plus interest. So the total figure Mayweather makes he will have to give back the money used to invest plus interest (what ever they negotiated what the interest would be).

So again even Mayweather is using his own investors he still would be the one who has to pay them back out of his pot.

If they both use investors then they both would have to pay the investors out of there pots which takes away from the total revenue that each fighter would make anyway. The question is whats Pac's guarantee if he wants everything 50/50 is he still going to get 40mil from Arum? If he is still going to get a 40mil guarantee from Arum then okay but if Arum is talking about a 30mil guarantee and 50/50 purse split then depending on how much the investors are taking from that pot you have to see which side gets you more money.

I agree, but it has been his buisness model so of course he will try it. But I do agree he should be willing to fold in order to make the fight happen.
