The investors make money only if the fight exceeds outlays. Otherwise, they lose money. That is why Floyd has the investors. He doesn't have the up front cash and he lays the risk off on them. All of this is BS regardless. Last time. This fight doesn't happen unless it is a co-promotion. Everybody in the boxing world knows that. I'm done with this.

Pac is the biggest star in boxing $, live gate, and ppv.

Pac is higher on Forbes list.

Pac will be remember higher as an atg

    Pac has a better resume.

Pac is not in trouble with the IRS and is not going to jail.

Pac is is the fighter of the decade.

Pac has made more money in endorsements, movies, etc...

    why shouldn't he get 50/50???

    a fighter once told me.
If you have not lost a fight, you have not fought the best.
the greatest Ali has losses. Sugar Ray Leonard has losses.

Mayweather's resume is crap compared to Manny and others.

the *****s never mention the baldomir, judah, or gatti ppv numbers.

There money will be based off of a % of things like gate and/or ppv rev. So no matter if they lose money or make money. Money earned is still going to come out of the fight rev. Which in the end takes away from from what Mayweather and Pac would earn in fight revenue. Which is why the guarantee is so important. Pac most likely isn't going to get 40mil guaranteed and 50% of the rev which investors will take a chunk out of. Pac will either get a smaller guarantee with a % of rev or a higher guarantee and less or no rev depending on how high the guarantee is.

I'm not arguing how it should be a co-promotion or not I really don't care if its co-promoted or not. Mayweather offered Pac 40mil to fight using his business model, Pac declined that's all there is to it. Its Pac who sent Konz to Mayweather's gym acting like Arum isn't a concern.

We all know that the fight isn't going to happen unless it's a 50/50 split - and that's been apparent for years. Any argument that supports the contrary is to say "I don't want this fight to happen."

I just wonder when Manny Pacquiao ever made that kind of money, and what percentage of the PPV money has he been getting prior to? I don't know his business but they were saying that what the NSAC reports on paper about Pac's payday is one thing. They're saying that the personal guarantee is somewhere around 20 million, while the papers say he's never made in excess of 8 million. I highly doubt that Bob Arum is sharing the PPV money with Pacquiao. Pacquiao gets flat guarantees when he otherwise fights any of the Top Rank fighters. Like I said, I don't know for sure but I highly doubt that Pacquiao has seen a dollar of PPV money unless it was given to him as an advance that comes out of his purse. I think that if Pac was getting PPV money, he wouldn't need to get purse advances from Bob Arum. Turn down that money just to go get a fraction of that from someone else.

The actually dollar amount that Pac is pocketing at the end of the day is irrelevant. However he decides to distribute his share of the split is of no business to Floyd. If Pac is indeed allocating a significant percentage of his earnings to Arum, his team, and whomever else, well then that's his decision to do so, and perhaps speaks to his naïvety.

What's really pertinent to the negotiation is the actual share percentage between the two sides - which anybody who has followed this saga over the last few years knows that the fight will now happen unless there is a 50/50 split, period.

Floyd is a genius at making it APPEAR he wants the fight. It works well with the mouth breathers...

  15. While it is more than PAC has ever made, it does NOT justify "here let me continue to **** you financially"

If anything... the fact that Manny has been raped by Arum would suggest he is DUE his MONEY.

FLoyd is a lunatic... I bet if he actually sat down with a psychologist... they would find a host of issues in that mind.

Crack-Daddy ****ed his brood up... but yeah, kid can box though. :yikes
