Not everyone who works for a publication falls under that category. NEWS reporters are to be unbiased in reporting the news. Certain types of journalist are also paid to give their opinions. But as I said, is scoop INVENTING interviews now? You think that's fake? :huh ****, someone should have let Hayon and Peterson know that there's a fake interview being credited to them. THAT is lawsuit worthy.

What you are doing is the oldest trick inthe book, DISCREDIT the source. And even so, it's an interview Pimp, not an opinion piece.

No one asked Floyd to do that. Indeed, it is counter productive because EVERYONE knows this fight will have to be co-promoted by Top Rank. Floyd is putting up investor's money, not his own anyhow. Just a **** poor argument you are putting forward. If Arum was unwilling or unable to do the co-promotion, this would fly. But as it is it is a dead DUCK. Read anything you wish into the DUCK part cuz we all know this offer was NEVER going to fly.

I can tell you put MUCH more thought into it then Sweet Jones ever has. He's one of those "Oh yeah, then what about blah blah hen?" type of poster. Always has some pointless follow up question ready after an explanation. You pretty much schooled him on this issue. :thumbsup But he's a floyd fanboy. He'll just repeats **** that suits him. Open thinking is an anomoly and an anathema to them.

Sweet Jones - "What be anomolymathema mean?" :huh

It comes down to the May 5th date. Mayweather wants the May 5th date, Arum doesn't. Pac doesn't care as long as he gets paid. So in order to make May 5th happen they would have to cut Arum out who refuses to make that fight happen until Nov. Mayweather thought it was possible since Konz been telling him that Arum don't control nothing anymore and Pac is in charge. Mayweather then proposed a deal giving Pac 40mil while he fronts the money for the fight. Mayweather would get the gate and ppv rev but he would be splitting that with his investors. Mayweather would have no guarantee but he would make the remaining left over money after he pays the expenses, and Pac's guarantee.

If they want a co-promotion and 50/50 split then Arum needs to be willing to do the May 5th date with Pac. This offer from Mayweather is an alternative for Pac since Arum isn't willing to make the fight until Nov and Mayweather is trying to make it happen for May 5th. There can be no co-promotion for May 5th if Arum isn't willing to make the fight on May 5th.

40 million dollars will be the most pac ever made for a fight not including jmm 3 which hasnt been officially released yet. i still think 50 split is fair. even thought floyd made 5 million more than pac in their last 3 fights, pac still deserves 50-50

    Speaking of Floyd and investors...

"A confidential source who wishes to remain anonymous at this moment in time has let it be known to me that boxing fans should not be fooled by Floyd Mayweather’s recent interest in fighting Manny Pacquiao on May 5th. One of the many capital groups that was approached to guarantee Floyd Mayweather’s purse for a May 5th bout, has mentioned that no MOU (Memorandum of understanding), which serves a precursor for a fight contract was ever submitted for a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. However one has been submitted for a Mayweather-Cotto fight, and a Mayweather-Guerrero fight. There is evidence that both Robert Guerrero, Floyd Mayweather, a representative from the MGM Grand, and HBO had signed a MOU regarding a Guerrero-Mayweather bout on May 5th at the MGM Grand. Although it was signed, it seems to have been disregarded, since many boxing fans showed immediate disinterest in the mismatch. Needless to say there appears to be evidence that the Mayweather-Guerrero fight was actually being explored at one moment in time regardless of what Mayweather or Golden Boy Promotions says. Whether Floyd called Manny out via twitter with no intentions of fighting him on May 5th just to appease boxing fans and the Las Vegas judicial system or did so to restart the soap opera that has carried on for two plus years with intentions of making the fight happen in November 2012 remains to be seen. One thing is clear, Mayweather-Pacquiao is very doubtful for May 5th 2012."

Can take with a grain of salt. But interesting info none the less. I'm sure all the Floyd fans who know about investors can back up the MOU part, since they must know about them already....

    As for the MOU... [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memorandum_of_understanding[/ame]

That's been clear from day one, and getting more obvious each day.
