Nice try. Floyd has flatly rejected 50/50 and has made a take it or leave it deal from the sounds of it. May 5 only becomes an issue IF (and we all know it ain't gonna happen) Floyd moves off of 50/50. There is really nothing to debate here. 50/50 IS the stumbling block. NOTHING matters until that is resolved. NOTHING.

You have a source saying Floyd was willing to talk about that? All I've read is his ESPN email where he said it ain't gonna happen. I haven't seen the ball come out of Floyd's side of the court yet. You gotta link to where Floyd said he would budge on the 50/50? If not, don't bother replying. This stuff is just so obvious that you really have to put your head up someone's ass not to see it.

    Its real simple.

Mayweather offers 50/50 split May 5th fight to Arum and he turns it down because he wants a June 9th date.

Mayweather then calls Pac offering 40mil for the May 5th date in a single promotion since Arum doesn't want to make the fight on that date. Pac turns it down because he wants a 50/50 split.

back in the day, Floyd was offered to fight Margo for his highest purse at that time but he refused.

So Manny turning down 40 mil to fight for around 20 mil is a good idea?

I don't get it either but then again Team Pac walked away from 25 to 30 million the first go around in early 2010 to fight Joshua Clottey for 6 million, so this is nothing new:-(

Precisley. 50-50 gets the wheels turning more then they ever have for this fight.

Of course, what you are getting is nothing more then distraction from the usual roadblocks put up. A handful have said Floyd deserves more, and many Floyd fans have openly said 50-50 is what it should be.

But then they look to latch on to something else to put the blame on Arum. It's a little crazy.

Hell, I ain't biased. Maybe you can explain KU99's conclusion, as obviously he can't (not 'WON'T', but 'CAN'T'):

unfortunately Scoop's article is still dead on and revelevent to this day.

    Kind of like Farmboxer's posts.

And Pimp C is not biased when it comes to Floyd.

If they really wanted this fight and each were confident in winning they'd go 45/45 with the winner getting the rest. Any other way they just being divas. We don't need divas in boxing we need boxers. Both these 2 stinking up the sport. Pacman wouldn't of fought Marquez if he thought a 38 yr old wouldn't last 4 rounds with him. These 2 should be making boxing look good not controversy after controversy.
