Khan must wait for rematch decision

    Golden boy said they would know today if Khan would get his rematch now this http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/16736408.stm I bet Khan is fuming. As far as I am concerned Khan had this coming getting to big for his boots he never gave rematchs so why should he demand one when it suits. Do you guys think Peterson as any intention of giving Khan a rematch?

    i think he should get a rematch bcoz of the fishy nature of the fight despite weather or not who won the fight.

    I think Peterson camp want to bring in some money before they think about a rematch.

    They probably don't want to take such a big risk just yet.

    So the first offer wasn't even 50-50, no wonder Peterson told them to go **** themselves, that's disgraceful, he's the Champion for ****s sake.

    I'd like to see the rematch but failing that I wouldn't mind him fighting Matthyse in a few months time.

    Peterson or Khan? I don't see Khan going near Matthyse or rematching Maidana anytime soon tbh.

    Peterson is ridiculous. Even if he is pissed at Khan mouthing off then GUESS WHAT, you have the opportunity to LEGALLY punch him in the face!

    Thats how Team Khan think though. Amir said this 50/50 new offer is more than we have ever offered anyone. They honestly think they are doing Lamont a favour with a 50/50 split. They need to wake up and realise they are no longer champions , and the reason his trousers are falling down is because he no longer as any belts. :good

    This fights split should be whatever the first split was, but reversed. Khan can fight for peanuts if he wants the fight, Peterson did. Champions don't do 50/50 with challengers, Khan certainly never did.

    So you guys reckon Ortiz should have got the majority of the purse against Mayweather when in reality the split was about 90/10 in Mayweather's favour?

    Champ getting the bigger purse is a load of bollocks, has being for ages.

    Khan 100% deserves a rematch with the nature of the suspicious activity and with how close the fight was (I had it a draw) there has to be a rm.

    He's not Mayweather but purse splits are not determined by who is the champion and who is the challenger - especially on HBO and Showtime.
