What does the future hold for Tony Margarito?

I heard Top Rank were thinking of matching him with Anthony Mundine. That would be good, Margarito gets a win, Mundine gets smashed. There's a Mayorga fight I think we'd all like to see. Canelo-Margarito is one I'd also like to see.

 

There's a fight where I'd have no one to root for.

 

Margo can still bang. If anything he could fight these young guys coming up and beat them. Cotto was stopped prematurely and Margo was turning it around, but i understand the stoppage, his eye was ****ed up! He has Heart and is a tough dude!

 

I would love to see Marg up against Mayorga. The build-up would be great. If he loses again, then retire. He has not won a meaningful fight since getting caught cheating against Mosley. As far as Cotto, I don't think three more rounds was going to get him the win. He definitely was not ready to fight anyone with his eye in that condition, but his Uncle Bob claims the best doctors in the world said the was good to go.

 

he has no chances of making a big money fight besides maybe cotto 3 but im sure cotto can ake much more money with mayweather or pacman. he should retire. he was exposed as a cheater and now has possible threatened his sight in the future.

 

Good call. That would be a nice undercard to some major event.

Ih he gets the OK to fight again (assuming his eye is alright) a bout w/ Canleo Alvarez would be good for the kid.

 

But not good for Tony. Fight Mayorga and retire and give Michelle that family she's been waiting for.
