Id love to see Mayweather vs Cotto and Id probably more excited for that fight just due to being a fan of Cotto and the history of these two having been around for quite some time and have never fought.... its not like Cotto is shot either and I think it would be a fun fight.

However, to me, Pac vs Bradley is the better and more competetive matchup.

Both would be good fights and Id watch both.

i think cotto is a bigger challenge to floyd than tim is to pac. i want to see these 2 guys challenge themselves as much as possible before they retire in 3 or 4 more fights so ill vote mayweather vs cotto.

Bradley is a make Pac look good opponent while Cotto can surprise people if he jabs and goes to the body.

On paper it looks like Bradleys more a quality fighter presently but stylistically Cotto vs. Floyd is very interesting.

    pac vs bradley

I have no desire to see Cotto get a boxing lesson from floyd. I'd rather see Floyd fight Martinez.

    Kirk,

How do you see Bradley being competitive with Pacquiao. To me he seems like a tough guy, fast hands, good basic skills, good defense, and stays busy. But he isn't special in any area, and is not a big puncher at all. Every guy who has gave Pacquiao tough fights in the last 10th years had enough pop to dissuade Pacquiao from coming at them like a buzzsaw. I cant imagine Bradley keeping Pac off him, and winning exchanges. Am I missing something?

Cotto Mayweather was THE fight in 07-08. I hope we get a chance to see it. I truly believe Miguel will be FMJs toughest fight.

Fair enough man and I can see why youd think Bradley doesnt pose much of a problem for Pac.

The way I see it though, (just imo) Bradleys motivation and overall quality would see him right there with pac regardless if he can hurt pac or not.... I dont think JMM has outstanding power at all, yet he was able to stun pac and keep him wary due to pure timing. Now, Bradley isnt the wizard that Marquez is, for sure, but it just shows theres more then one way to skin a cat.

I think it would be a good fight to see

I really dont think Mayweather vs Cotto is all that great a matchup in actuality, I think its a great fight considering the history and the names involved, and Id love to see it unfold, but I think Mayweather dissects Cotto fairly easily at this point.... I actually think Mayweather would be coming forward on Cotto as well.

Both are good fights imo, I just think Pac having a motivated Bradley whos going to be banging with him every step of the way win or lose is a tougher task for him then the one Mayweather would be presented with in Cotto.

But, I can honestly see why someone feels Pac would bulldoze Bradley. I think Bradley has a quality to him though that will see him relatively competetive in the fight. More competetive then I think Cotto would be with Mayweather.... as I see Mayweather completely dissecting Cotto.

Would love for Cotto to prove me wrong though.... if he beat Mayweather it would be epic.

Like I said I do want to see Mayweather vs Cotto more, and hope it happens just to get this matchup resolved.

Cotto will lose, but he's the biggest threat to Floyd since Oscar...that was a whiles ago

Bradley is a great opponent for Pac, we will see how far Pac has fallen, but i expect a war

unless of course, he pulls a Mosley

    both good fights, cant complain

Sure, Cotto who has not taken any of his recent belt from champions(Paper champion, had to foul to save himself from Judah, could not hide from a Margarito uppercut, had to run from Mosley in the second half of the fight, put on ***** street by Ricardo Torres, He is mentally a midget, he could not stick to what was working against Pac(Abandoned his body and attack and had no versatility to his jab). He is one of only two fighters to get stopped by Pac at welterweight. He cant deal with effective pressure.

I will give him a pass with the Mayorga fight because it is hard to look good against Mayorga.

If my opinion was on the clown level then you could easily refute it.
Because YOU think my opinion is valid you can only respond with an insult and a child-like question

May vs Cotto is the better fight

Change Bradley into Khan and we have an even better fight

Roach himself said Khan vs. Pac isn't impossible in his own HBO show a week ago.

Both of these would be good competitive fights. As much as I dislike catchweights, I think they might be the fairest solution for all concerned as both Mayweather / Cotto and Pac / Bradley all fight in different divisions.

    Pac / Brad @ 144

    May / Cotto @ 150

    Thoughts?
