Usually, 55% of the $70 million PPV goes to distributors/cable companies.

Farmboxer was right all along. This is even beyond what I thought Floyd would do.

Figures that came out when GBP sued TR showed that Pac / MP Promotions gets 72.5% of net revenue while Arum / Top Rank gets 27.5% of net.

It's not going to work out, do you really think Arum's gonna let Floyd pay HIM?? (which in its own right would be funny as ****) and at a smaller amount than he would have made had he done the promotions himself?

Dude stop. Your line of thinking is based on something that is nowhere near how these things are paid or contractually obligated.

If PBF wants to sole promote this (because he wants to push Arum out) 40 mill is nowhere near "reasonable" since this fight will make upwards $150 million.
Basically, you want Pac to take much less even though his numbers are comparable, in some instances better, to PBF.

Even if you say PBF his a bigger draw than Pac, is it really that much bigger than he is only worth less than 1/3 of the possible revenue???

Reality is neither side can't make this much money with EACH OTHER.
Pac can't make $40 mill guarantee (maybe $40 mill overall, but not minimum guarantee) and PBF can't make $100+ mill with any other fight. Not even close.

    It is like this
You live in some poor neighborhood. You offer to sell me a Ferrari. I offer you $40k. You say this is worth at least $80k. But I tell you no one this neighborhood can offer anything more than $20k.

According to your logic, that you should accept it.

You should be paid the WORTH of your service or product. Arguing that it is better what the next person can pay is being disingenuous when you know I am the only person even worth that much.

LMAO Pacquaio can earn 40Mil by fighting Cotto or any other boxer today. He can easily command a guarantee of 25Mil and earn more from PPV revenues, TV rights in the Philippines and other income from the fight.

If he accepts floyd's offer, 40Mil is the maximum amount he could get while floyd could get more than 100Mil from PPV, ticket sales, merchandise sales, even hotdog sales in the venue, and international TV rights. that's right even the TV rights from the Philippines will be controlled by Floyd Mayweather. Pac is the biggest fool in the world if he accepts this offer.

Floyd can do this kind of scheme when he is fighting the likes of Ortiz but it will never work against a superstar like Manny

Thats my whole point of my argument.

It has to be 50/50 Co Promoted fight. Its the only way the deal will be done.

Because if the total fight revenue like i said is $200 Million there is no Way Arum and Top Rank will step aside to get a bite of $40 million out of Pacquiao's so called 40 million offer. They would be losing the chance to make millions.

Thats what im trying to say, Floyd is insane and dreaming if he thinks he will be getting anything more than Half.

THIS FIGHT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.

Funny seeing all you guys argue over what boxers make when you really have no clue. And a doc from the NSAC isn't the be all, end off of their take after a fight.

Arguing like two guys facing one another, saying "No, this way is left, this is right!!"

    :huh

his purses are under 10 mil, and his guarantees are near a total of 20 mil (so anything over that purse is coming by his gate + ppv cuts). he isn't getting 20 mil guarantees from TR + ppv...that ppv is already priced in
