Came at a catch weight against a guy who had not fought at light middle in YEARS and had just finished serving a suspension for having illegal pads in his gloves. AND it was for a vacant belt. There is nothing legit about Pac's history-making light middle title win.
What does that have to do with anything? The last sentence is gold, and a hard sell. Margarito can get a catch weight, but not Cotto? Weak.
If Pac is fighting for Cotto title, then the fight should be at 154lbs. Cotto should be the one calling the shots because it's his title. Pac is suppoes to be great, well why won't he live up to the hype and do something great then. He fought clottey at 147lbs then moved up to fight Margarito at 150lbs. He made Cotto go south instead of fighting him at 147lbs and now he won't fight him at 150 or 154. People please stop believing the hype, because it's not true. If one can't see it now then you never will.

Just to point out how ridiculous that fight was considering it was for a title. You have a guy who hasn't fought at that weight in years and was suspended. The suspension simply makes the whole ordeal seem even more trivial and meaningless.
Im just confuse not shock why Manny and other fighters such as Margarito are so demanding when it comes to fighting Cotto at a certain weight. Are they so scare of Cotto even at this stage of his supposedly downhill career but has look more impressive in his last three fights than they have in theirs.:deal
