Floyd has definitely been in street fights. There is all kinds of rumors of stuff, but at the opening of the Jet Li movie Unleashed or whatever at the Orleans casino I was sitting in front of floyd and his posse and some big bodybuilder type comes in with his popcorn and drink all held out to his sides in the lat spread walk.

Floyd and his crew start giggling, and saying stuff like, "help, I can't wipe my ass help me." The guy turns around looking like he is going to say something back and then Floyd just looks at him intently and the guy shuts up and sits down, complete intimidation. It was pretty cool, since the guy was twice Floyd's size. Floyd would have destroyed him with or without his posse, I'm sure.

yeah I talked to him a handful of times in Vegas in the Tropicana-Decatur area, he is always around there. He was usually pretty friendly but for sure he is the type who would make fun of people and say smart ass things, but he is pretty friendly to just approach and say, "What's up Floyd?"

 

With Devon Alexander he said he saw his brothers and friends on his street ruining their lives with gangs and promised himself he would never get involved. From then on he pretty much lived in the gym and avoided that whole side of life.

Tyson Fury is another who has never had a fight outside the ring. Realistically who's gonna start on him anyway. He's ****ing massive if you meet him in the flesh, broader than what he looks on TV.

 

what do you count as street fights, are you talking about as adults? because if you have your **** together, you shouldnt be fighting as adults, but almost everyone got into fights as kids and teens.

I heard Angelo Dundee say Ali never fought outside the ring. He went on to tell a story when Ali was Champ, they pulled into a gas station in NYC. A huge black guy came out and was washing the windshield. Ali said something to the effect of "Hey you missed a spot" The man then turned to Ali and said "Hey this is my job you gotta' problem you can step out of that car" Ali responded "Nah no problem man" As they drove away, Angelo asked Ali why he backed down and Ali replied "Did you see the size of that guy?"

See that right there though is an example of why I'd think Floyd hasn't been in many. I wouldn't be surprised if he's had one or a couple when he was real young, but I doubt it was a constant thing. I remember Nazim on 24/7 saying "Your daddy was a world champion, your uncle was a world champion...come on, how many street fights you think you're really gonna get into?"

 

( Don't know much about the guy , but..) Calzaghe looks mild mannered and seems like he'd shrug off some loud mouth on the street.

 

I know that sugar ray leonard has been it street fights from reading his autobiography not like dempsey or anything lol but he describes standing up to a bully in skool and dropping him with a bunch of left hooks, my best guess would be Gene Tunney he was educated, and always a gentlemen I cant imagine him just hauling off and hitting someone
