If the fight sells 3M PPV and does 20mil at the gate, that's 200million in revenue. Add another 50million in international rights, closed circuit, etc... that's 250million in revenue.

Give half to the networks, promotional costs, cable distributors, etc... that's 125mil to be split between the two camps.

    62.5 million each.

Yes, gross profit is before taxes.

so it would possibly have to make more than the 110 you quoted because they are talking about net (if i am getting this right), though not sure how the F they handle taxes in this type of thing

it's an estimate based on other fights like Pac vs Marquez, Floyd vs Oscar, Floyd vs Mosley, Pac vs Cotto, Pac vs Margarito, etc etc etc

Yes, I was talking about the fight netting $110 million (net profit, not revenue), which means after all expenses and taxes (Las Vegas however has no tax). Let's say expenses for this fight including purses of undercard bouts would amount to around $40 million. This means that the fight would have to earn a revenue of $150 million for Pac to take home $40 million.

because his estimate makes zero sense, and it would be fun to watch him try and justify it

Just months ago it was ok with 50-50, Now that Pac agreed to the tests, date and venue. Suddenly 50-50 is not good anymore.

Hell, Did Pac's purses change over a course of months?
The level of idiocy is ******ed

Maybe not fair, bit officially, Pacquiao hasn't taken more than $10,000,000 for any fight he's had.

He's not going to make $40,000,000 in any other fight.

You're only looking at guaranteed purse, not the actual purse Pac made in his fights.
