Are you suggesting for one moment that if floyd would have accepted 50/50 a fight would have taken place on may the 5th?

If you are, then you need to do your homework, arum has made it abundantly clear that may 5th was not going to happen.

So how has floyd ducked pac again? Mayweather plan was to fight may 5th, arum had over plans.

All Mayweather has to do is go back to saying 50/50 co promotion and then sit back and listen to Arum make up excuses. But Maybe we can at least get a NOV fight out of it.

50-50 is reasonable which include PPV
pac may have agreed below 50 but he doesnt mean he cant get a share with the ppv
floyd knows pac will not accept the offer below 50 and without a cut on the ppv so that people will think, pac is the one ducking.
    nice move by floyd!

As would be expected, *****s completely missing the point in here. Your questions are irrelevant and ignoring reality. We can deal with hypotheticals elsewhere.

These are the questions you need to ask yourself:

Is 50/50 unreasonable for Floyd? (This one is so easy it's almost rhetorical)
Why would he propose anything different?
If he did propose something different, why wouldn't he make a realistic offer based on a percentage of the profits?

When you can answer these, I'll answer yours.

Yep. His fanboys think he can dictate the drug desting, the purse split, the date, the arena, and whatever else Floyd desires, and Pacquiao should just agree and be happy for the opportunity. Floyd is a spoilt greedy *****. Neither of these guys really want the fight.

Bloody hell, Reppin. If the offer he's making isn't even a fair one, and it's one that he knows won't be accepted, then what's the point? That's what the TS is saying.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter if he "blew it" or not. The fight was never intended for May 5th to begin with, so Floyd could have offered Manny a bag of potato chips, and it still wouldn't have a made a blind bit of difference to the current situation.

If they did a percentage, how much would each fighter get? If the fight grosses 200 million, 50-55% go to PPV distributers, so we are down to what 100 million...then you have Arum's cut 27.5%, you then have expenses that go into marketing and promotion...so how much is left and how much do they split, how much more money is Manny going to make if done via percentage? It's been estimated they would get 25-50 million each...

As I've said before, per the offer Mayweather made, the only person losing money or getting short changed is Arum...period.

Arum will take the exact same percentage of Manny's earnings, you ****ing imbecile. :patsch:patsch:nut And you're still COMPLETELY missing the ****ing point, as usual.

why make it complicated when 50/50 is simplier and more fair? and if floyd thinks $40M without PPV upside is big enough, then he should take that one instead.

I'll repeat this again, if the fight grosses 200 million, 50-55% is going to distributors, we're left with $100 million, you then have expenses, Golden Boy, Top Rank, getting their cuts...how much is left? The 50/50 split...how much are they going to split, and how much more does Manny make than the $40 million offered and gauranteed, if this is such a horrible deal, please explain to me how you arrive at said conclusion? The only difference between this deal and any other deal is that Floyd is cutting the checks instead of Arum...read the articles I posted above, it's clear the only person getting ****ed with the offer he made Manny, is Arum, simple as that.

    I'll answer your questions.

Is 50/50 unreasonable? According to floyd it is.

He would propose anything different because he feels he is worth more than manny pacquaio.

No one knows how much the percentage of the profits would be this is all guess work, just like when schafer said mosley v mayweather was gonna do 3 million buys only to see the fight do closer to 1.4 million buys.

    :thumbsup
