it's a legit question and he should not get a pass w/o being questioned on it

because he thought that there were gonna have formal negotiations, but what happened is that Floyd already booked the date and the venue without TR in the picture. It was all dictated to him.

And since when did asking for 50-50 a bad thing given the fact that they are both draws, hence the title mega fight.

it's not a bad thing, but that isn't the question...why offer to take less when you had no intention of doing so?

for one, there's already a thread made on it. second, what's the point? arum won't have manny agree to floyd's offer and arum definitely does not want a fight on may 5 regardless of the split. the ts is just looking to pinpoint on pac's lapse on this one when floyd also has had his.

Manny Pacquiao is ready for the "possibly" May 5, 2012 fight between himself and Floyd "Money" Mayweather, as it's being reported that Pacquiao will TAKE LESS MONEY than Mayweather if the two do indeed fight.

Pacquiao did an interview with a Filipino newspaper, the Manila Bulletin. He reportedly told the newspaper that making the fight happen was the most important thing, not the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS he can make by fighting Mayweather.

Recently in Las Vegas, Pacquiao's manager Michael Koncz made a stop at Mayweather's gym to discuss the possible fight. Also, Mayweather's uncle/trainer, Roger Mayweather, last week, reportedly says that he believes that a May 5th fight between the two CAN HAPPEN.

If the fight does take place, many believe that it will take place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. Some also believe that Jerry Jones could step in and offer his stadium, Cowboys Stadium, as the host site for the event, but it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

There's even a few who think Madison Square Garden in New York City would be the best choice for the fight, bringing back memories of the March 8, 1971 fight between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, the Fight of the Century.

You think what Floyd offered was good? With this kind of magnitude of a fight that would make even Bob Arum generous.

    :patsch

Same can be said with Floyd, what happened to the take the tests and we have a fight, remember 50-50 was ok back then.
